When the
nominees for the 22nd annual SAMAs were announced last week, there was one category missing: the Record of the Year.
It's the only category in which the winner gets chosen by public vote so the nominees were announced to music lovers on LIVE Amp on Friday night (22 April).
As you'll see, the category has been incorrectly named - it should be called Best Male Record of the Year because there's only
one girl amongst them! (Idol Shekhinah).
The nominees are:
