Tired of her intruding sister overstaying her welcome at the Forrester Mansion, Maya insists that Nicole pack her bags and leave. Refusing to adhere to Maya’s demand, Nicole makes an unwelcome visit to a photo shoot at Forrester Creations, causing tension for their lead model.
Concerned about her sister’s wellbeing, Katie turns to the person who knows Brooke the best for advice, Ridge. While discussing their worry for Brooke, former lovers, Ridge and Katie fill each other in on how their lives have changed while apart.

Given cause to worry by her conduct at their wedding, Katie and Bill check in on Brooke to ensure she has not spiraled out of control. Shaken by their visit and the stories from their blissful honeymoon, Brooke has a difficult time maintaining her sobriety.
Hoping to find an excuse to get her sister out of her house, Maya calls upon Carter to look into Nicole’s personal life. During his research, Carter discovers an important piece of information that Nicole has been keeping from Maya.

Seeing how excited his mother is about being engaged to Deacon, Wyatt tries his best to convince Quinn not to rush into getting married so quickly. Wyatt voices his concern about Deacon’s character, his past, and whether or not he is truly devoted to Quinn.
Helping Brooke through her difficult time with not drinking, Deacon makes a promise to be there for her whenever she needs him. Maya confronts Nicole about the real reason why she came to Los Angeles.

Having helped her through an emotionally difficult time, Brooke thanks Deacon for being there for her and then apologizes for treating him so poorly throughout the years. Quinn is proud of Deacon for assisting a friend in need, not knowing that the friend is Brooke.
Katie questions Rick about his relationship with Maya and advises him to think long and hard before rushing into anything permanent. Nicole finally gets the answers to the questions that she has been pondering since her childhood.

Still curious about the life that Maya has been living while in Los Angeles, Nicole has many more questions for her sister. During a staff meeting, Rick makes an example of Ivy by criticizing her work performance in front of her coworkers.
Seeing the frustration from her nephew, Pam gives Ridge unsolicited advice on how to interact with Rick. Due to the disrespectful behavior he witnessed from Rick, Liam’s desire to take over Forrester Creations intensifies.

Bill pays an unwelcome visit to Ridge’s home, determined to question his nemesis’ intentions towards Caroline. The visit takes an even more uncomfortable turn when Bill sees the nude portrait that Ridge painted of Caroline.
Nicole gets more insight into Maya’s personal and business life while observing her interaction with Rick. Knowing the tough day that she had at the office, Liam plans a romantic surprise for Ivy.

Having listened to Katie gush about her wedded bliss with Bill, Brooke opens up to her sister about her recent struggle with loneliness. While planning the guest list for their wedding, Quinn suggests that Deacon invite his friend from his twelve-step program, unaware that the friend is Brooke.
Knowing that Nicole is the keeper of her secret, Maya cowers down to her sister and retracts the suggestion for her to move out. Nicole agrees to work on her relationship with Maya, but asserts that she has certain expectations.

Rick calls an unsuspecting Quinn for a business meeting and proposes that she return to Forrester Creations. During a twelve-step meeting, Brooke shares with the other attendees her feelings of loneliness and thanks Deacon for being her support system through her tough times.
Katie confides in Bill her concern about Brooke and the company that she has been recently keeping. Deacon confesses to Brooke the temptation that he has been dealing with, and it doesn’t include alcohol.

Everyone at Forrester Creations, especially Ivy, is upset and a bit terrified when they learn that Quinn has been rehired and will be working on the jewelry line. Quinn assures her once-again coworkers that she is a changed person and will regain their trust in time.
Deacon wants to know from Brooke if there is a chance for them to be together before he marries Quinn. Katie warns Liam and Bill about one major obstacle that could stand in the way of them dethroning Rick as CEO.

Deacon feels torn between marrying Quinn when Brooke responds to him about their chances of being together. Katie confronts Brooke about her actions when she witnesses her sister and Deacon in a compromising position.
Quinn becomes suspicious about where Deacon was earlier in the day and who he was spending time with. Liam’s desire for revenge against Rick intensifies when he learns about Quinn’s rehire at Forrester Creations.

Quinn becomes irate when she realizes that Deacon’s friend from their twelve-step meetings is Brooke. Afraid that Nicole might reveal her secret, Maya makes every effort to try and keep her sister from spending any time alone with Rick.
Bill interrogates Katie about why she has been so concerned about Brooke lately. Quinn proves to Deacon that she is a changed person while remaining calm about his friendship with Brooke.

Maya goes on the defensive when Nicole hints to Rick that her sister is not being totally forthright about herself. Wyatt continues to face opposition from his coworkers regarding Quinn being rehired at Forrester Creations.
Brooke fears for her life as Quinn claims to be pushed to her limit and angrily makes a threat to stay away from Deacon. Not wanting to jeopardize his relationship with Quinn, Deacon tells Brooke that he can no longer be her support system.

After watching Oliver at a photo shoot, Nicole expresses to him her desire to become the next Forrester Creations model. Sensing that something is troubling Maya, Carter attempts to get her to confide in him.
Wyatt angrily confronts Brooke and Deacon about the conversation that he overheard between them regarding Quinn. Brooke and Deacon become concerned about Quinn’s reaction if Wyatt decides to tell her about their exchange.

Carter is in complete shock at the conversation he overheard between Maya and Nicole. Confused about Maya’s revelation, Carter questions her about not disclosing her secret to him when they were engaged to be married.
Wyatt grows concerned that Quinn has reverted back to her darker ways after having told her about Brooke and Deacon’s discussion. Quinn confronts Deacon about whether or not he and Brooke have rekindled their relationship.

Having made herself clear that she will not be his consolation prize, Quinn puts Deacon on the spot to make a decision about who he wants to spend his future with. Feeling as though Rick has the right to know, Carter hints that Maya isn’t being totally forthcoming about her past.
Deacon and Wyatt grow concerned about what Quinn may do next. Quinn arrives at Brooke’s house to let her know exactly whom Deacon chose to be with.

Ridge has an ulterior motive when he surprisingly gives Nicole his full support of her auditioning to be a model for Forrester Creations. Brooke sets Quinn straight about her interest in Deacon and bluntly voices her opinion regarding their pending nuptials.
Willing to defend his woman to the end, Rick is convinced that Carter is acting out against Maya because he is still in love with her. Knowing that she paid a visit to Brooke, Deacon makes his feelings to Quinn very clear.

Quinn attempts to redeem herself with those that she wronged at Forrester Creations by presenting Rick a gift and extending an olive branch to Ivy. When Brooke comes to his defense against Ridge’s criticism, Rick asks his mother to return to work full time.
Seeing how frustrated Ridge is following his confrontation with Rick and Brooke, Pam champions him to continue standing up for what he believes in. Carter ponders revealing Maya’s secret when she becomes the topic of conversation between their coworkers.

Scoffing at the allegations that Ridge has made towards her, Brooke unleashes her true feelings about his relationship with Caroline. Ridge goes on the defensive when Brooke airs her grievances to him about their past together.
Nicole becomes overconfident in her modeling ability as she takes part in a test photo shoot. Carter pulls Nicole aside to let her know that he’s aware of her blackmailing Maya. Nicole, in turn, explains her side of the story and what she is trying to get out of the situation.

Maya is put on the spot and forced to answer a difficult question when Rick inquires about his discovery. Carter confesses to Nicole about his past with Maya and how he is hurt that she didn’t feel as though she could disclose to him when they were engaged.
Concerned about Maya’s feelings, Carter anticipates Rick’s reaction when he learns about her past. Quinn surprises Ivy and Liam when she extends an olive branch to them and asks for their forgiveness for her past transgressions.
