Carmen meets the Octobers and Ian immediately takes a liking to her. Stefan is worried about Michelle, while Chris has to choose between Rita’s mental health and Lee-Ann’s friendship. Mrs J decides to whom she is going to assign the power of attorney over her shares in Suidooster.

Bridgette puts her foot down about Jerome’s relationship with Carmen, and gets more involved in the centre’s business affairs.
Rhafiek discusses his feelings for Nicole with Bianca, while Rita feels increasingly unsafe in her own home. Criminal activity at the centre escalates, and Harry Galant presents Fasie with a solution to the problem.

Chris and Tim do their best to ensure that Rita takes her medicine, but she conjures up new lies to avoid taking it.
The shop owners are fed up with the sudden crime wave in Suidooster, and Rhafiek is struggling to keep his feelings for Nicole bottled up, while it looks like her relationship with Tim might fold under the immense pressure.

Chris discovers Rita missed her doctor’s appointment and blames Tim for it. Michelle has another bout of cramps, while Bianca finds out that Carmen and Jerome are married. The charming Harry Galant meets Lee-Ann and Bridgette.

Ian and Bridgette are furious with Jerome and insist that he has the marriage annulled. The Samsodiens are shocked when they find out what happened to Debbie. Harry has a meeting with the Jacobs sisters, while Nicole and Tim have a serious discussion about the future of their relationship.

Michelle blames herself for the miscarriage and AB wants to win Mymoena back, but isn’t sure how to go about it. Rita’s mental health detriorates, forcing Chris to consider other arrangements. Another incident at the centre complicates matters for Lee-Ann when she gets a journalist to write an article about Suidooster.

Lee-Ann and Bridgette need to calm down the tenants when the crime wave spins out of control. Panic sets in when AB can’t get hold of Mymoena after a big highway accident, while Ian has new information that puts Jerome’s relationship with Carmen in jeopardy.
Rita becomes increasingly paranoid and loses all control.

Rita’s disappearance has Chris and Tim in a state of panic, and Nicole does everything she can to help them. Ian and Harry’s scheming regarding crime and safety at the centre gathers momentum. Michelle struggles to process her miscarriage and takes her frustrations out on Stefan.

Bridgette is upset that Nicole is helping Tim look for Rita. Peace has finally returned to the Samsodien household. Carmen has all sorts of plans, and Rhafiek almost tells Nicole how he feels about her. Chris and Tim reach breaking point: there’s still no sign of Rita.
