So let me start off by awarding these great candidates... and the scandal of the year goes to... Bonang and AKA for Date A Friend's Man (I just had to do it, they both deserve it).
So usually ladies blame the girl and the guy walks away scott free (not today, I am so vigilant these days it's scary). AKA, father of Dj Zinhle's baby, was alleged to be having an affair with Bonang sometime last year (see blog post "oh my AKA).
To my very surprise, after being dumped by Zinhle, Mr Man releases #Compsure where he talks about Zinhle being an angel and him messing up and Cassper Nyovest released Dust 2 Dust where he had loads to say about AKA and Dj Zinhle - I agreed with what was in the song (if you haven't heard it please download and listen).
AKA denied claims of this affair but started posting items on Instagram and Twitter about BAE's cooking (which was odd because he and Zinhle were no longer together and he doesn't date what he would call "basic chicks") so it left us asking who was this BAE? AKA should have known better then to date friends (very bad behaviour on his part).
The thing that many forget is that social media is a blessing and a curse because people are always watching. Bonang instagramed a pic of items she got for her and Bae from H&M on their opening night ( again, the question camp up of who was BAE because her and Dbanj were over). The story blew over until this week where it was alleged that Bonang and AKA were in Mozambique on Beacation.
AKA instagramed a pic of her backside in the pool with the caption "spending time with My Queen" (mistake she made was taking a pic with a friend or fan in that same costume AKA instagramed about... social media will kill us).
So what do we call this? Is it perhaps a coincidence or just a coming out? - either way it shouldn't be so. It's true, you can't choose who you fall in love with but you can be a better friend. I mean these types of situations happen all the time.
Firstly, they should have been honest and not tries to save face. Sadly Zinhle was pregnant when the alleged affair started but honesty speaks louder than deceit. Bonang should have known better than to play the classic "I will sue you" act (like jokes on you now cause people won't trust you around their men).
You tried fooling us but y'all both got caught out. How does it feel to be with your ex-friends baby daddy? Kairo's so young but already living in a broken home because of selfishness. I hope they are happy and karma doesn't bite them in the bum otherwise this will just be the beginning of a crazy rollercoaster. You're Welcome.
