Special Notes

Muvhango toppled Skeem Saam as the third most popular show in the country, with historic numbers.

On Tuesday 24 November, Muvhango averaged an AR of 20.2, or 6,796,000 viewers, the highest average viewership for an episode of the show since TVSA began compiling TAMS data in 2006.

The biggest storylines over this time involved Thandaza, Shonisani and Mulalo’s affair and the threat of the return of Teboho.

This Ranthumeng affair worked well for muvhango ,the numbers prove it .skeem saam will obviously lose some viewers cz its festive season and 18:30 is early ppl are still having fun out de .wow uzalo 8million congrats .isidingo might as well close shop .they have tried everything but nothing seems to work to pull up the numbers.

Of course Skeem Saam shall reclaim the third position because Muvhango viewers are not loyal. Uzalo has a huge loyal fan base such that even though the serial is dull at the moment, the viewership increases regardless. As for Isidingo, I reckon its viewership declined due to the disappearence of the fraudulant and contentious pastor Gabriel. The Road, sadly things are not looking good momentarily. Could it be the time-slot or the storyline or both? It must be the latter because the cast and the acting is impressive and so is the directing.
