A heads-up that auditions for the third season of Clash of the Choirs are happening as we speak.
They started in Jozi on Saturday (19 September) and move through the other provinces from this Saturday (26 September).
The format of the show remains the same for the new season: seven choirs from seven provinces sing to win a cash prize, under the watchful eye of a celebrity choirmaster mentor.
The choirmasters this season are: Penny Penny, Kelly Khumalo, iFani, JR, Bucie Nqwiliso, Kalawa Chikita Busiswa Lahla and Sfiso Ncwane. They'll be allocated their choirs in the first episode.
The prize this season: 1 million smackers (double the prize for Season 2). The winning choir will also receive and extra R250,000 which will be donated to a charity of the choir's choice.
