Ranthumeng has to take a trip. The water situation is getting on VhoMutshekwa's nerves. Rendani tries to get Gizara to see her point of view.

Gizara offers to pay for Rendani and Vusi's accommodation if they agree to move out of home.
Imani realises that Ranthumeng is going to London to try and avoid her. VhoMutshekwa is not happy with the royal kids wasting water while she and her son go without.

Imani leaves for Cape Town. Thandaza manages to get herself onto the same flight as Ranthumeng to London. Then her passport disappears. Gizara pushes Vusi into a corner about moving out. A desperate Vusi makes a long distance phone call. The water crisis in Thathe causes conflict between vhoMutshekwa and VhoMasindi.

VhoMasindi apologises to VhoMutshekwa. Azwindini reprimands Gizara for trying to get Vusi to move out of Hangwani's house. Mampho has noticed that Ranthumeng seems much taken with Imani and is not shy about pointing it out.

Thandaza is given a reason to be suspicious of Imani. Gizara scores points with Hangwani. Vhangani is given hope his problems will be solved.

Mampho doesn't help matters with her questions as Thandaza's suspicions of Ranthumeng cheating with Imani rise. Gizara proposes to Hangwani while the kids fear Gizara will take over their lives. Vhangani loses his temper with the royals over the matter of the broken taps.

Gizara and Hangwani's good news is not welcomed by everyone in the family. Thandaza battles to contain her mounting anger over what she suspects to be going on between Ranthumeng and Imani. Vhangani is pained by this mother's suffering over the lack of water in the village.

Gizara and Hangwani get a surprise visit from VhoSara and it's not pleasant. Nthabeleng renews Thandaza's hopes of having a biological child. VhoMutshekwa has a nasty accident while collecting water.

Mampho shoots her mouth off and exposes Thandaza and Ranthu's secret plan. Gizara refuses to accept defeat. Vhangani blames Mulalo for his mother's misfortune.

Thandaza cannot have children. VhoSara declares war and Azwindini decides there will be a hearing where she and Gizara can each state their case. VhoMutshekwa leaves hospital. Vhangani gets good feedback from the council rep.

Thandaza is heartbroken over not being able to conceive. Azwindini gives Gizara the go ahead to marry Hangwani. Mulimisi sees something worrying in the bones.

Thandaza is very unhappy when she learns what Ranthumeng has been doing behind her back. Just when Gizara thinks everything is going according to plan, a spanner is thrown in the works. The water situation gets even worse.

Vhangani incites the community to protest for better service delivery. Mampho suggests a traditional solution to Thandaza's conception problems. Azwindini is happy with the proof that Albert paid lobola for Hangwani.

The chief demands an explanation from Vhangani about the water protests. Rendani is convinced that Hangwani doesn't love Gizara and doesn't want her mother to marry him. Thandaza is keen to go to a traditional healer as a last resort to help her get pregnant.

Vhangani leads the community protests. Ndalamo plays with fire. Gizara shocks Hangwani and Rendani.

Vhangani leads the community into raiding Mulalo's water supply and the police are called, resulting in stone throwing. Hangwani isn't enthused about her upcoming wedding, leading Gizara to tell Hangwani to think hard about what she really wants. Ndalamo gets Imani to agree to be friends with him.

Thandaza and Ranthumeng are confused by the news that Mulimisi gave them. Imani and Ndalamo spend more time together. Men with weapons and petrol bombs threaten the royal house.
