Muvhango star defects to Generations

It's goodbye Gundo Mukwevho and hello Vuyo Radebe for Muvhango star Nkuli Tshirumbula who's defecting to Generations.

It seems Nkuli's moves on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor gave him itchy feet because he resigned from the SABC2 soapie approximately a month ago. Word from the show is that he completed his contract so he isn't ditching and ducking and the writers have been able to wrap-up Gundo's storylines.

He starts filming on Gen in a week. He'll be playing Zola Radebe's son Vuyo, who is described as a "renaissance man" who loves art, photography and film. He's the epitome of hipster cool and he's accessorised by his hipster friends in Maboneng and Braam where he hangs out.

He makes his debut in November.

Hopefully he'll give a convincing performance in his new role because I wasn't impressed with his acting on Muvhango.
