Analine realizes her son Marcus might actually be missing; but her search is thwarted at every turn. Gugu is determined to use TT’s ownership of the Casino’s land as leverage against Paul, but she ends up turning her own career upside down. Ravi learns a hard lesson about his new girlfriend.

David learns Michelle took his son, he and Pieter hunt her down, without telling Analine, but Michelle has received help from an unexpected source. Gugu is inspired by Helena to manipulate TT into fulfilling her ambitions.

David and Analine are confronted with every parent’s worst nightmare, and all eyes focus on Michelle. Paul convinces Ben he needs to fight for his marriage, but his plans are derailed. Tallulah has Ravi on the ropes, he’s about to offer her his bed, when Kenny steps into the picture.

David and Analine turn to the police for help, but the investigating detective is a deeply flawed and complicated individual. Pieter takes it upon himself to investigate. But where do his loyalties lie? In Gugu’s absence, Paul and Dhanny are unprepared for a wealthy punter’s increasingly odd requests.

Mhambi proves she is a very effective detective, but while Michelle is being interrogated, David manipulates Pieter into admitting something he shouldn’t. Then the kidnappers up the ante. Paul is forced to recruit Gugu to help stop Mr Fujimoto from leaving before gambling enough.

David scrambles to come up with the ransom money. Michelle hears that Marcus’s health is deteriorating fast, he needs his medicine. Esme is about to make contact with Ben when Tallulah gets in the way.

To Analine’s horror, David’s financial pressure causes him to bargain with his son’s life. TT gets horrifying news via social media and Dhanny has to face an unpleasant fact about her boyfriend.

Episode 9
Analine hands over the ransom and is on the verge of getting Marcus back, when Denton hears that David killed Michelle’s father, Denton’s childhood friend, it’s a game changer. Dhanny notices that Bonnie and Thabang, star crossed young lovers, appear to be scamming the tables.

Episode 10
David arranges a TV appeal to the kidnappers, all goes well until Analine shocks them with a hare-brained idea. The kidnappers prepare a proof of life video, but Marcus has other ideas. Thabang gets caught for scamming the tables, but Ben won’t believe the same of Bonnie.

Episode 11
David negotiates with Paul for the 10 million needed for the ransom, with an unexpected result. Michelle needs medicine for Marcus, and attempts a burglary. Thabang decides it’s time to go, but Bonnie has other ideas, ideas involving Ben.

Episode 12
Marcus is dying, and Michelle is wavering… when she tries to do something about it, Denton has other ideas. Gugu convinces TT to stand up to his brothers. Bonnie tries to use Ben to get Thabang off the blacklist, but Ben’s residual feelings for Esme prove to be an obstacle.

Episode 13
Marcus is dying in front of them, but Michelle and Pieter, the only two that can save him, are tied up and don’t trust each other enough to work together to get loose. Analine finds a note in the King house and exits in the dead of night. Dhanny is disgusted as Ben keeps his mind off Marcus by focusing on Bonnie.

Episode 14
Marcus is in ICU, fighting for his life, Analine is unaware, and she waits in the hotel room for Denton to collect the ransom. Bonnie wants to get into Paul’s office so that Thabang can take his name off the casino blacklist. Gugu helps TT find a way to tighten the screws on Paul.

The King family confront their faith in the face of Marcus’s failing health. Michelle confronts revelations from both Denton and Pieter that force her to re-evaluate. Thabang faces a tough decision, steal millions for Bonnie, or follow his instinct and walk away?
