SABC2 soapie 7de Laan introduced a new title sequence and theme tune on Monday (22 June) to coincide with the show's 15 years on air.
The sequence was filmed in Melville and Parkview in Joziburg and the music was composed by Joe Niemand, a predominantly gospel singer and composer.
The new sequence also serves as an exclamation mark on 7de Laan's foray into cyberspace. As reported on TVSA earlier this month, 7de Laan episodes are now available online as part of the SABCs 7-day catch-up service. They're available on
SABC2's website and will also be on
7de Laan's website in future.
