Lerumo and Phehello come face-to-face, resulting in an interaction which Phehello never expected. Scelo repeatedly appeals to his father's sense of reason and the response is always the same. Layla plans a surprise for Thembeka which will be waiting for her when she returns from honeymoon.

Anzani gets into a huge fight which leads to two decisions being made - one with dire consequences. Scelo seeks assistance with his family problems which does not have the effect he was hoping for. Zinzile hears her work circumstances are about to radically change.

Phehello is finally going to have his revenge for the pain which has tortured him for almost the whole of his life. Scelo is forced to rely on the kindness of a friend and a neighbour becomes suspicious. Mangi is attacked by fears of a possibility which should make him very happy in the end.

Lucas comes up with a brilliant plan to make money and pitches different versions of it to the warden, the gang leaders and Stokkies. Scelo is excited by a prospect which he believes will solve all his problems but is extremely dangerous. As one door closes for Ndumiso, it appears that another may still be open.
