danceathon Strictly Come Dancing's been renewed for Season 8 and the premiere's just around the corner. It returns to SABC3 on Friday, 5 June as a one night event instead of two.
Last season the Results Show was only on the Saturday night after the Friday performances - a ridiculous set-up - but this season it's going to be on Fridays too. The performances start at 19h30 and the results will follow.
Judges Michael Wentink, Tebogo Kgobokoe and Samantha Peo are all returning and Katlego Maboe and Roxy Burger will be hosting again too. Some of the dance teachers are going to be different though - there's no word yet on who's In and who's Out but we can confirm that there's definitely been a shake-up to them.
As per usual, things are very hush hush when it comes to who the celeb dancers are. What can we expect from them? TVSA posed the question to series producer Kee-Leen Irvine of Rapid Blue who told us: "As always we looked for a mix of sexy and entertaining characters and I think we have an interesting line-up, with someone for everyone!"
