Golden Popcorn Statue

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards are coming up in April and the nominees for the golden popcorn trophy have been announced.

The ceremony's being hosted by comedienne and actress Amy Schumer and will air live on MTV as per usual. The live broadcast starts at 03h00 on the morning of Monday, 13 April and will repeat on MTV later, starting with a build-up at 20h30.

As you probably know, the winners are chosen by the public who can vote online on the awards website here: www.MovieAwards.MTV.com. Voting closes on Saturday, 11 April for all categories except Movie of the Year which will continue throughout the live broadcast with the winner announced at the end of the show.

Ahhh the MTV Movie Awards are such fun! I thought Jake Gyllenhaal would get a nomination for Nightcrawler following the Oscar snub and all, ah well.....  I will definitely watch the awards
