12 Monkeys was one of the movies that changed Brad Pitt's image from glamour-boy to serious-actor, Bruce Willis was special in it too and now there's a TV show.
Syfy's made a TV series from the movie and it'll be airing on M-Net Edge from 16 March - at 20h00.
The story's about a time traveller James Cole who travels back in time to stop the release of a deadly virus by a crowd known as The Army of the 12 Monkeys. James is played by Nikita's Aaron Stanford who was played by Bruce Willis in the film.

It doesn't leave me feeling excited about it. The movie was such a classic it feels so definitive, as if the show can't achieve the same degree of coolness. My first impression is that the cast isn't charismatic enough and that the style isn't interesting enough.
I'll give it a chance though because a similar feeling happened with shows like Fargo and From Dusk Till Dawn and I love both. TVSA blogger Thabang
