We are gathered here today to bury Generations at 8pm. I know a lot of you were devastated by the dismissal of the Generations 16 on the government channel. But we also know that what the Lord taketh away, the Lord giveth back and opens other doors, as he did on e.tv. We reclaim the 8pm slot in fiery, bloody war with something that half of the current cast doesn't have, which is talent, hunger, tenacity and desire. Because of us, more actors will be respected and taken seriously.
We sacrified ourselves ahead for the future leaders of our industry. And we understand that we are opening a can of worms by reclaiming what's ours "the 8pm slot". However a mother isn't defined by DNA/Biology, but by her actions. We helped this baby grow and just because it's on the streets, don’t mean we don't want it back in the house.
When we lost the battle last year, we didn't go lick our wounds, we went to strategize/plan, to prepare for war. We knew the enemy would come back sooner, unprepared and weaker. We've been studying him since December; it's a game like the Proteas and West Indies, no challenge at all.
