e is looking to hire a Sotho/Zulu speaking junior copywriter for the group's creative services department.
Reporting to the Senior Copywriter: Group Creative Services your Key Performance Areas will include:
- Conceptualising and writing promotional copy for: on-air, radio, print, billboards and any other platforms that may be required.
- Directing Voice Artists in audio recording sessions.
- Checking on-air promos and print material prior to delivery.
Requirements:
- A degree/diploma in Copywriting, English, or a relevant post-graduate qualification from an accredited advertising school.
- At least 1 to 2 years copywriting experience, ideally in a media/marketing environment.
- Ability to write relevant, grammatically correct copy in English, Sotho and/or Zulu.
- A keen interest in local urban and youth culture and the ability to adjust tone and style to create copy that resonates with this audience.
- Basic proofreading skills in English, Sotho and/or Zulu.
- A free thinker with a meticulous eye for detail.
- A team player.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A passion for broadcasting.
