Press Release

Freeze Frame, New Creation And The Band sing and dance to the finale
TX: Semi-final 3, Sunday, 2 November at 6:05PM. Results show, Monday, 3 November at 8:30PM

The heavily contested second semi-final showcased the diversity that SA's Got Talent boasts this season. In the end, the results speak for themselves as dance group Freeze Frame as well as New Creation And The Band advanced to the finale. The top 6 acts will showcase their talents in the finale on Sunday, the 9th of November at the Soweto Theatre.

Freeze Frame, the eight-piece hip-hop dance crew from Kempton Park in Johannesburg, promised an outstanding performance and they delivered. Combining props, innovative moves and an undying attitude, they won over the audience by securing their place in the finale through public SMS vote.

New Creation And The Band from Soweto, made their way to the finale by means of the judges decision. The nail-biting decision between them and Noelle, the young opera prodigy, was not an easy one but the seven-piece afro-funk group won the judges over in the end.

This coming Sunday is the last semi-final before the finale. Two more acts will secure a place in the finale alongside Freeze Frame, New Creation And The Band, The Young Wheezy Boys and Joe Fredericks. This week sees Arise, Black Lace, Honey, Tholwana Mohale, Matrix Avators and Jude HarpStar take to the stage to win over the audience and judges.

The results show of the upcoming semi-final will broadcast at 8:30PM on Monday, 3 November.
