Press Release

Joe Fredericks and The Young Weezy Boys advance to the SA's Got Talent finale
TX: Semi-final 2 on Sunday, 26 October at 6:05PM. Results on Monday, 27 October at 8:30PM.

Joe Fredericks and the Young Weezy Boys are the first group of contestants to go through to the final round of this year's season of SA's Got Talent and both stand the chance of winning the grand prize of R250 000.

Joe Fredericks floored the judges and audiences with his performance and went through to the next round by means of public SMS vote. His supporters were out in full force at the Soweto Theatre with custom-made 'Joe' t-shirts and signs.

It was the judges’ vote that got The Young Weezy Boys to the next round. The popping and locking dance duo showed off their unique skills and delivered a flawless performance to earn their spot in the finale.

This coming Sunday sees six more contestants take to the stage to try and impress the judges, and most importantly the viewer at home in order to stand a chance of going through to the finale on the 9th of November. Two contestants from each semi-final will advance to the finale. One contestant will go through based on public SMS vote and another will be going through based on the judge's decision.

The results show of each semi-final will broadcast at 8:30PM on Monday after the semi-final on e.tv.

Joe's voice really does nothing for me. His voice just didn't blow me away.
