Press Release

Loads of thrills and spills on SA's Got Talent this Sunday
TX: Sunday, 12 October at 6:05PM on e.tv

It's the last day of the theatre auditions and contestants are still lined up for one last chance to impress the judging trio Lalla Hirayama, Shado Twala and DJ Fresh in order to stand the chance of winning the grand prize of R250 000.

Contestants are shaken and stirred as one bartender doesn't receive the reaction he hoped for and the self-proclaimed 'perfect' dance act gets taken down a notch. The judges, needing some inspiration, then get their minds blown by a contestant performing a mesmerising act that has never been seen before this season, which takes performance arts to the next level of excitement and suspense.

Phelelani Ndakrokra from Cape Town shows off his impressive skills to the judges and audience.

Being SA's Got Talent resident dance expert, Lalla bares her claws as she lets some contestants know exactly what she thinks of their dance acts. Her unexpected remarks bring one contestant to tears.

The Young Weezy Boys from Cape Town have the audience on their feet with their electric performance.

Another first for SA's Got Talent takes place this week when a group of bell-ringers bring their unusual and beautiful act to the stage. The judges are so intrigued by the act that even DJ Fresh wants to join the group but is politely declined.

Judge, DJ Fresh is intrigued by one group of contestants but doesn't make the cut to join them for their audition.

Gumboot dancers with some edge, a gunshot victim with some amazing moves, plus a quiet duo of youngsters who let all their moves do the talking receive an astounding reception from the audience and judges. What can we say! South Africa definitely has some of the most outstanding talent in the world.

And finally, in the last episode of theatre auditions, the judges have the hard task of  selecting the top 18 contestants for this season. Watch as the judges agree and disagree about who deserves the coveted slot in the final rounds of South Africa's biggest talent search. Did your favourite act make it through? Tune in this Sunday to find out.
