A new telenovela called Where is Elisa? premieres on Telemundo in primetime on Monday, 6 October - at 18h50. It's about the disappearance of Elisa, with a real life twist.
It's been inspired by the tragic events surrounding the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal in 2007. Sweet Maddie
who, like so many others, still hasn't been found.
Elisa's a different age though - she's a teenager who goes missing during a celebration. It stars Montserrat Prats, Francisco Melo and Sigrid Alegría.

The story of Elisa Dominguez’s disappearance begins during the birthday festivities of her father, Raymundo Domínguez, a well-known businessman who was celebrating with his wife, children and other relatives when something unexpectedly happens changing everyone’s lives.
The celebration turns to tragedy when his eldest daughter disappears. Police detectives begin to investigate, initially tracing an alleged kidnapper.
But they soon discard him as a suspect and begin going down a long list of possible suspects that includes Elisa’s schoolmates, former employees of her father’s company and even friends and family including uncles, cousins and even her parents.
