It's official. South Africa's favourite entertainment music show, Club 808, returns to e.tv on Friday 15 August 2014 at 8PM. The iconic Mo Flava, along with the sensational Nonhle Thema, will bring you the latest local and international entertainment and music news plus interviews with South Africa's biggest and hottest artists every Friday night.

What better way to kick off the party every weekend than by hanging out in your living room with two of SA's coolest and hottest entertainment personalities on your TV getting you in the mood for a fun-filled all-nighter. Boasting an astounding studio setup and top class production, Club 808 now takes up its new position in the prime time slot of 8PM every Friday night on e.tv.

'Club 808 is one of the most innovative and leading shows on e.tv. The show's strong and upbeat content is for the funky youth who wish to have their finger on the pulse of the latest entertainment and social scene trends.' says Monde Twala, head of e.tv Channels Division.

'The channel is dedicated to offering the best entertainment to its diverse audience across the country for free. This is continously demonstrated with the unique offering of the best locally produced shows featuring homegrown talent.' Twala explains.

Club 808 not only features the hottest homegrown music but the show will, in its return, bring new and exciting features to viewers that includes 'Hashtag', where viewers are encouraged to send their 'Pick Of The Week' video request on Twitter using the hashtag #MyPickClub808.

Club 808 also invites their talented viewers to upload a video of themselves or friends singing a cover of a popular track or an original song of their own. Each month, one lucky viewer's video will be showcased to the entire country to see. In the digital era, fame is just a Youtube upload away.

Celebrating its 4th birthday, Club 808 will be part of the ever-popular Kasi Tours taking place around the country from the end of August and will be getting the party started in Mafikeng on the 29th of August at the El Nino Nightclub.

Catch repeats of Club 808 on eKasi+, channel 105 on OpenView HD. eKasi+ is a channel that celebrates and inspires authentic township life. The channel features talk shows, dramas, movies, music, gospel, kids entertainment, lifestyle and reality shows.

True-true Ms Opinionated, the move to Saturdays really took it off the radar. Will be interesting to see what happens with it now, 'specially with it being up against Strictly Come Dancing.
