th Season of The Close Up returns to the small screens on Wednesday, 13 August at 8PM, exclusively on e.tv.
The Close Up is a series of mini-documentaries, which each showcase a well-known South African personality. The show features intimate interviews conducted by Nicky Greenwall, coupled with never-before-seen images of the celebrity.
Among the guests confirmed for the new season of The Close Up is rapper Psyfo, actress Leleti Khumalo, DJ Euphonik, socialite Khanyi Mbau, TV personality Pearl Modiadie, DJ Zinhle, comedian Trevor Gumbi, model Lerato Moloi, and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo.
In the first episode, viewers will get a closer look into the life of Sipho Ngwenya, also known as Psyfo. Especially, because he wants people to know that life for him has not been as easy as everyone seems to think. Viewers will also discover how this Kimberly-born star ran away from home as a child to find a new life in Johannesburg.
From his early days as a kids presenter - to his current career as an actor, producer and rapper; it's perhaps hard to believe this pint-sized star has been on the small screen for almost two decades.
