Musiek Roulette launches as SABC2 announces a running mate for the long-running game show, Noot vir Noot. Musiek Roulette debuts on Friday 8 August 2014 at 19:30. 

Hosted by the sensational pop singer Nadine, the format of this brand new game show is a first of its kind on Television. Musiek Roulette sees three pre-auditioned contestants being selected from the audience to participate in roulette games by singing a section of a specific song as soon as the intro is heard.

The contestants are put to a test as they answer questions based on the content of medleys which are sung by various artists during the show. Each contestant decides individually how much money they want to risk on a specific question or task before it is revealed. In every bet, the contestants will double or forfeit the amount they bet in a task.
 
Contestants who participate in the show are sourced from around the country. Details of the auditions have been advertised during Noot Vir Noot.

Musiek Roulette offers each contestant a kick-off amount of R3 000 to play the game for the rest of the show.

Each episode features 3 well-known and upcoming guest artists as they each sing a medley consisting of 4 songs. The artists to be featured include Kurt Darren, Top Billing presenter Katlego Maboe, Eloise Cupido, Jennifer Jones and Elizma Theron.

About The Host :

-       Nadine released her first album at the age of 13 and has sold more than 500 000 albums so far .
-       Nadine is the first South African singer to win the annual World Peace Song Festival.
-       In 2012 Nadine was nominated for the South African Theatre as the leading lady Mary Magdalene in  the production “Jesus Christ Superstar”.
