Season 4 of Housewives of Beverly Hills starts on Vuzu tonight (4 July) at 19h30 and brings with it a whackjob former South African who lived here for four years.
Two new housewives join the show for Season 4: a former beauty queen who goes by the name of Joyce Giraud - and Carlton Gebbia. Interior designer, South African as a teen and self-proclaimed witch.
Carlton, who's about 40, was born in England and moved here when she was 14. She stayed for four years, went back to England with her mother and then moved to Hollywood when she was 20 to pursue a career in acting.
Cut to 20 years later and she's in Real Housewives - for one season only. She was fired from the show immediately afterwards. It seems the show wanted to spice things up when whey cast her and didn't count on how much people would dislike her.
She talks a lot about her sexual fantasies (her and her husband have a special sex room apparently), she clashes with everyone on the show and she's a practising Wiccan. She speaks about spells, curses and so on - which got a lotta people upset. I haven't seen any of the season but from what I can tell she casts a spell on one of the housewives' husbands and he gets sick. Or the wife gets sick. Or it's what they told people. One of those.
She bounced back quickly because a short while after being fired she just "happened" to be doing this at the beach when a photographer walked past:

their site. It's bizarre because you can't tell whether the writer of the article wants you to think that she just happened to get caught at the beach or if they want you to know she organised it and invited them/sent them the pictures.
