Survivor: Cochran joins the losers at Ponderosa

It was inevitable. Even though I've often thought that it might not be.

Throughout South Pacific I've had the bizarre feeling that Cochran might pull something out that makes him one of the best Survivor players of all-time. I've always believed he's made too many mistakes but at the same time I had moments of thinking they might turn out well for him. I even had a moment of wondering if he'd win so it was an oddball feeling when he actually got whacked.

I must say, I felt a bit of twinge for him as he left with his jokes and tears. Then I remembered what he did to Dawn and I was pleased that he's now history. Forgotten immediately.

As we speak there are only two contenders I'd like to see win. 1) Albert because he's hott. 2) Because her teeth are cute. The rest are appalling.

And Edna didn't do enough early enough. I was impressed with her final fight but it was too late. She won't beat Ozzy at the Redemption Island challenge obviously - the trailer wouldn't have hinted at it if she did.

And so we're left with Roach, Ozzy, the Poison Dwarf's kin and invisible Rick. There's no other way for things to go other than for Albert or Sophie to take the season. I don't dislike Ozzy necessarily, but he annoys me a lot so I wouldn't feel fondly towards a win by him.

I was pleased to see Albert smack-talking everyone in the trailer for next week - when he said that loyalty and honour isn't important to him. Hopefully he can lead the charge in an anti-Roach campaign. Hook up with Sophie.

If either him or Sophie make it to the end, the jury would be very partial to them. They're both well liked and even though they've been caught in the Roach trap for so long, they've never directly done anything that's been unacceptable. I have no doubt the jury would be on their side.

Speaking of ... here's what happened when Cochran, Whitney and Dawn arrived at Ponderosa after they got torched:
