Beth came back happy with her class after they won something. Back at home the house was full of lesbians. They were painting their t-shirts for the pride. She was still hesitating about coming out especially going to the pride while Akua was excited about going to the pride. She sat at the table in the kitchen while Thuli was busy braaing with her lesbian friends. It turned out Thuli’s manager is Thuli’s friend’s girlfriend.
She told Thuli about Beth hiding in the kitchen and Thuli freaked out because she thought Thuli was ready to come out. Thuli’s friend teased Thuli about her girlfriend being straight and gave her a t-shirt for Beth. When they were getting ready for pride Beth was fussy and busy talking to Akua on the phone about the costumes they are going to wear to pride. Thuli was not impressed by the mask subject between Beth and Akua. Thuli told Beth that pride is not some Cape Town pride she will not hide behind the mask. Damn it was a mission getting Beth to go to the pride and Thuli was really pissed off by Beth’s fusses.
Back at Mandla and Lois house was another session of annoying Lois who didn't want her man to touch her when they were on bed. They were resting on the bed with Mandla facing the roof while Lois was between the blankets looking on the side. Mandla suggested they don’t get up from bed that day and just talk about things. He made a mistake by touching Lois’ hand which made her quickly jump up from bed and said she has some stuff to do.
She left Mandla at home with his mom. His mom asked him about his relationship with his wife. He told her things between them are not good and the therapist suggested they separate and the man cried bathong, shame man. His mother told him in their days therapy was church. They would just to go to church to pray for everything to be okay. Mandla was crying shame coz he really loves Lois and he doesn’t know what to do to change the situation between them.
Back at Beth house Thuli and Beth were still fighting about this pride thing coz Beth was waiting for her friends so she can go with them. Thuli shouted at her telling her she’s waiting for her friends to hold her hand well she’s leaving her coz she doesn’t want to miss the match.
Finally Lois and Inno arrived and Beth was happy to see them. She was wearing her lesbian t-shirt and they congratulated her and laughed. Miss Akua arrived with her new car and her friends screamed when they saw her new baby. And she was like hayi suka lento indala heeheeh talking about abantu abachomayo…lol.
They all jumped to the car and went to the pride. They arrived and Akua was so excited bathong that I didn’t understand her excitement. While Beth was happy that her friends are there with her she was still wondering about Thuli's whereabouts. She seemed like she thought Thuli was with other lesbians or she has gotten her self a new girlfriend. There were gay people all over the place and some thought all the girls were lesbians. And Inno was quick to correct them that her friend Beth is lesbian not all of them and she took a picture of Beth with those people.
They all went to the loo. Lois went in first and Inno asked her something I didn’t get and Lois asked Inoo "can’t you ask me that after I’m done". And Inno told Lois about her trail and how everything is going well. She asked her to stand on the stand for her. I think to be her witness and she agreed. When Inno was inside the loo Mandla called Lois and talked to her about their marriage situation. Lois freaked out and asked Mandla "can’t you wait for me to discuss this when I'm back at home.
Mandla told her he knows she’s not going to want to talk about it coz she doesn’t even want to be in the same room as him. Lois shouted at him telling him "I told you I was going to this gay pride thing". Mandla told Lois they can separate coz he can see that’s what she wants. Lois asked Mandla what’s to discuss coz it seems like he has made his decision. Mandla told her no it not like that he is just making things easy for her. So Lois asked Mandla "do you want me to move out Mandla" and some gay guys pushed her and they were cut.
She went back to her friends looking not okay. She just wanted something to drink when she saw champagne in Akua’s hands she grabbed and downed it. Akua told her its a champagne its not alcoholic. The girls did their toasts and Inno toasted to finally being able to move out of her mother’s place. It was Lois turn to toast and she didn’t know what to say but she ended up toasting to moving out too which left her friends puzzled.
Back at home Lois packed her stuff and was ready to move out the same day. Mandla told her they are not going see other people and Lois was not willing to talk to him. She just wanted him out of her face. She said her good byes leaving her daughter with her husband and mother in law. She moved in to some flat and there was this cute doctor who seemed like they know each other from hospital.
Beth and Thuli finally made peace and were happy at the end and kissed. I didn’t understand the part where Inno was busy talking to the press and acting like she’s cooking. They even asked her to scream which was a difficult task for her. The journalist gave her R20 000 even though he promised her R30 000 because he wanted her friends to be there too for the story. But Inno took the money anyway.
