Last night saw the launch of Africa's biggest reality show, Big Brother Africa Amplified
I arrived a good hour before the launch kicked off, to a cosy VIP area where finger foods and drinks were in abundance. To my obvious delight, the food was also delish. I was very moved by the great treatment we received; we are in South Africa afterall - Bad Service Paradise.
Politics aside, the launch went pretty smooth, without many of the common Live Show glitches. Let's hope the other productions took notes.
BLK JKS were the opening act. Check out the guitarist in a “plastic” ala Matrix dress
The first couple of contestants on stage. Shame, poor Lotus (far left) met the floor before she could meet her housemates, when she fell on stage. The audience couldn't contain their Ooohs and Aaahs
This is the group with the hotties, fashionistas and Khanyi Mbau's look alike in leather shorts
Mzansi's hottie Luclay. He got a lot of people confused because he's popularly known as Clayton.
Another Mzansi hottie, I don't know why her BBA profile pic doesn't agree with my statement
Zimbabwe's Wendall. What was up with the hand?
My roving eye caught an open zipper
Then, there was Angola's Weza in a micro mini, sending guys to 7th heaven
Mingling and getting to know each other
Too hot to mingle???
Then, the main act Busta Rhymes blew the crowd with his stellar performance of his popular songs
Busta Rhymes is in his own league with his rapping technique. It's like a tongue twister, untwisted - if there's even such a thing. In short, he's boss.
The sweat is testimony of an electrifying perfomance
