Kelly Khumalo's drama was over when she said she opened a case against her boyfriend, Jub Jub after she said he's been abusing her? Well it seems like the drama is still continuing.
You'll remember Kelly broke the news and talked openly about her abusive relationship with Jub Jub in
Sunday World and said it was over between her and the father of her child after being together for two years.
A week later she did another tell all interview with weekly magazine,
Drum still singing the same tune that her relationship with Jub Jub is over. On the same week Sunday World reported again that Kelly was seen with Jub Jub at some parking lot. Something that made people believe Kelly lied when she said she's no longer with Jub Jub.
Again recently Sunday World reported that Kelly lied in all her revealing interviews all because she wanted money from these publications and we know Drum pays +- R50 000 for exclusive interviews.
Now Drum mag did their lil investigation about all this and it seems like those close to Kelly Khumalo have come to a conclusion that she's doing drugs with Jub Jub hence she can't stay away from him. According to Drum's sources
Jub Jub introduced Kelly to drugs.
Apparently with all the abuse happening her relationship with Jub Jub's mother, Mama Jackie was not as good as it was before Kelly moved in with the family after Jub Jub's accident and when their house caught fire.
It was believed their house caught fire when they were burning impepho. Later Kelly Khumalo told Drum
"she believed the fire was ivutha a bad luck spell that comes in the form of fire".
What apparently caused tension between Kelly Khumalo and Mama Jackie was her suggesting
“Jub Jub should seek the services of a sangoma to help him with his case, Mama Jackie, Jub Jub's mother got wind of this and wasn't impressed. She's very against that kind of thing" says Drum's source.
The tension was high to a point were
Jub Jub had to choose between Kelly and his family. He chose to move out with Kelly since she was still pregnant with their baby that was born last year May.
Drum reporter who did the cover story on both Kelly Khumalo and Jub Jub says, she could see that there was something not right about the couple.
"They weren't talking. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. But when I asked them what was wrong they were dismissive. It was odd that there was no closeness between them during the shoot. At one point Kelly stormed out leaving a bemused and embarrassed Jub Jub behind."
I think this confirms it that the couple did the interview only for money. I mean I can imagine their reactions just by reading this. Their behaviour as described by Drum’s reporter says it all.
Kelly mos opened a charge against Jub Jub but the Captain who is handling the case says they went to Kelly’s house but didn’t find her and she is not answering her phone when they call her.
Khanyi Mbau who is doing some ad with Kelly Khumalo says Kelly arrived late for a shoot looking like she was drunk. Apparently she looked terrible. Bonsai Shengwe who is Kelly’s manager could not confirm whether Kelly is back with Jub Jub or not and says he’s not aware of her doing drugs.
Another close source says Kelly demonstrates all the signs of a drug addict. "She's always asking for money. She says it’s for petrol or airtime but come on, her behaviour and appearance is also a tell-tale sign of a user. She must leave that guy to fight his demons alone."
I also read in Sunday World that Jub Jub called another businessman in the middle of the night asking for money and he was with Kelly. Could this couple be really doing drugs?
And mind you it’s still suspected that Jub Jub was on drugs during the accident that he and his friend Themba Tshabalala caused last year in which four children were killed.
Hayi shem it is worse now that Kelly is also suspected of being a drug addict. When I read this article I thought of Whitney and Bobby Brown’s story. It is similar is some way.
Lets hope she is not really a drug addict, if she is she must seek help. I really don't know what more to say hey. I think we should start praying for Kelly bethuna.
