Vivica A Fox telling Local Celebs Off

On Sunday, 21 August SA Sports awards will be held at Sun City. Maybe you might have seen the advert on TV with Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula that says, American Stars Vivica A Fox, Brandy Noorwood and Regina King will be part of the guests.

Apparently they will be handing out awards to the winners and some local celebs such as Nonhle Thema, Bonang Matheba, and Terry Pheto will also be handing out the awards.

Last night a Sports Awards dinner that was MC’d by Tbo Touch and Nonhle Thema was held at Randlords, Braamfontein Johannesburg. Those who cracked the invite made their way to the event including some local celebs and politicians.

You know American stars with their diva tendencies so this was no exception. Apparently Vivica A Fox told Bonang Matheba, Minnie Dlamini and Terry Pheto to get off stage when they were up to pose for pictures with the American stars and Minister Fikile Mbalula.

She apparently said “Oh no, I don't mean to be rude, but please could you get off the stage? Yes, go, get off the stage.”  Read here

This is not the first time that American celebrities treat local celebs like this. It has happened with many artists as well.

Vivica’s behaviour shocked local celebs and other people who were at the event. As we know Bonang Matheba, Terry Pheto and Minnie Dlamini are one of our SA stars but Vivica obviously doesn’t know zilch about that.

But it’s said Brandy was the nice one unlike Vivica she was happy to take pictures with everyone.

Vivica A Fox is acting all diva while she is a “has been” I don’t even remember her last movie. Why Minister Fikile Mbalula pulled a Kenny Kunene and invited American “has beens” in the first place still amazes me.

Why does South Africa make American “has beens” relevant again? Americans must be laughing at us.

Now we wait for another American star, Janet Jackson who is also set to make way to Mzansi for a tour.

She will be performing at Montecasino in Joburg on 11 and 12 November and at Grand West Casino in Cape Town on 15 November.

We hope she will not pull a Vivica A Fox.

Vivica yena a so tlo re tlwaela hampe

same applies to Kim K when she was here, she saw bo Brown Sugar aka Lelo with their nice pakistan not the surgically enhanced ya gagwe and then she sulked

I saw a picture on twitter of Vivica posing with Bonang, dunno whether that was before or after the drama. Maybe she thought the were some fans who wanted to take pics with them celebs.

But this cracked me up I couldnt stop laughing. Yhu she is rude shem. Telling people to get of stage even saying "yes go, get off stage" thats a classic I can actually picture this happening it cracks me up.

Touchdown tweeted that Vivica was following protocol. I mean following protocol by chasing people off stage? He said it was time for American celebs to take pictures with the minister local celebs were going to have their chance. I mean isn't he the one who called Bonang, Terry and Minnie to go to the stage for pictures? Hayibo Tbo Touch bathong! What protocol? Even if Vivica A Fox was following protocol she could have been polite.

It's too long to explain in a comment. I've had to write an article to explain!

I think South Africans are just sensitive. Yes, she probably did say "get off stage", but I think the statement is being blown out of context and out of proportion.

My feelings excatly Carino. There is no 'nonsense' in that statement. I think even if she said "Dears please get off the stage, niyangimpintsha" it would have made them mad coz bona bazazi ukuthi bayama-celeb. What Im wondering ukuthi do we have celebs or groupies kanti la?

I'm glad they know how it feels. This is how local stars treat us (nobodies) when we do the same. BUT I'm said that it had to happen to such nice people.

I’m sorry but this time I believe the journos …. Lo sisi is written Miss Attitude in her botox face. I think she said that in that TONE if you know what I mean. TBO will always defend the Americans and you know the reason why. He is the sucker! He even took a picture with her so yeah! And again I’m sorry. I don’t even know why Vivica was here coz she looked like an expired biltong and futhi some people should stay away from short numbers. Not all of us can look sexy. It’s not nice seeing tired wrinkled knees being on display. This applies to all of us…celebs or non-celebs.

Lastly MINENHLE baby girl u can wear one centimeter anytime! You make me envy that curvaceous body of yours and those killer legs. You look yummy on my 52cm fong kong tv.

Thank you and I’m sorry if I hurt someone’s feelings.
