So what do you guys think about Intsika now? Initially I didn’t feel it. I felt like it was moving slow for me but since there is nothing much to watch on Tuesdays I kept on watching it but sometimes with less concentration. But in the last couple of weeks it has been interesting with the whole Lizeka thing and her mother, Kholeka.

There is also a thug by the name of Blaze who turned Xolani into a monster that even raped his wife. It has been hectic with this couple. Ntosh even moved out of their house last week after Xolani beat her up and she saw that he has a gun. The doctor came to her rescue.

There is tat’uMayor who is now “taking care” of Lizeka. He gave her a job dunno what kind of a job but Lizeka has to pay in some way. I think Tat’uMayor is her sugar daddy and her mother who is in hospital is encouraging this.

I almost puked the other day when Lizeka puked Mayor’s sperms eeeuww after he dropped her home at night. Apparently she gave uTat’uMayor a bj and kept the sperms in her mouth and puked them after he drove off, my gaaash!

Ndoda is still working on ending corruption eZithuthe. He has fought with his father many times about it but they have kissed and made up. Two weeks ago his Jozi girlfriend pitched up looking for him and begging him to return to Joburg. But we know Ndoda is taken by village girl, Phakama who is playing hard to get.

There is also mamgobhozi and shebeen queen Nove who knows everything about everyone in the whole village. She kills me shem I like her.

So what do you think of Intsika now as it is nearly to an end.

There is also Zone14, well I do watch Zone14 even though I cannot tell everything that is happening there. There is just a lot happening on Zone14 and I can’t keep up. I was disappointed to see Vuvu back on drugs and all that resulted in Madi’s death.

Hayi shem I don’t like that they killed Madi. I liked Madikeledi. Now her daughter is going to grow up without a mother. And mind you Madi and Mdu were preparing for their wedding. I wonder what’s going to happen now with Mdu.

There is still the Nina story with her men, King and Skhalo. Dunno what’s really going on there right now but I know that King has left Zone14. Nina has not given birth yet, hawu bathong kunini apregnant!

There is also a new Tiger Boys coach dunno what Bab Moloi is plotting this time but it seems like the new coach is not on Bab Moloi’s camp. He is more friends with the Sibiya family.

I like Jet Novuka I was happy to see him on Zone 14. It is clear that Zone14 is made by the same people who did Yizo Yizo. Most of the actors there are from Yizo Yizo and you can see nje the whole vibe of Zone 14 is similar to that of Yizo Yizo.

You remember two weeks ago TVSA had an article about a new drama series Shreds and Dreams. I managed to watch the first episode. Tjo it was hectic with sex scenes all around. I understand why it plays late at night. Their sex scenes last for about 3 minutes or more so it wouldn’t be right for prime time.

In the drama there’s a young tjatjarag girl (played by Lerato Mvelase) who was staying with her mother (played by Baby Cele) but moved out after her mother beat her up after she (the mother) saw her (the girl) having sex in the kitchen with the husband of the mother’s friend. It turned out the girl has been having an affair with this man.

There is also a man in the villages who abusing his wife. He forced her to have sex with him. It was more like rape because the woman was not enjoy it at all. She was just lying there like Precious in the movie Precious. She escaped and left her son crying and begging her to take him with.

There is also a woman who is a student (played by Linda Sokhulu) at university. She is also faced with her challenges. She was married dunno what happened to her marriage. But now there is a guy (Melusi Yeni) at varsity who is interested on her but it seems like she doesn’t want the guy for now but it's obvious they will end up hooking up if they haven’t.

I didn’t watch it last week so I don’t know what happened. So what do you guys think of your dramas on TV? Which one do you want back mna I want Home Affairs and Society back now.

Intsika is boring i stopped watching it long time ago, so i dont even know what's happening. Im loving Fallen on thursday but i have to change the channel at 09:00 for Muvhango and i miss out the last 30min.

Zone 14 is also very good and i also didnt like the killing of Madi shem, i wanted to c her happily eva after but too bad they had to kill her. The new coach was brought in by Sibiya so he is definetly not in Moloi's camp lol.

Which channel and wat time does this shreds n dreams play?

I also want iHome Affairs, Society and also that drama used to play in SABC1 a year ago based in Cape Town of a lady who owns a hair salon and was having an affair with this tycoon and had a brother who was a manger at a store containers place, i really forget what they use to call it

I can see Tzhavile. I only watch ZONE 14 becoz of Jet Novuka. He has killer lines and the way he speaks his Xhosa mmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhh he can come to me anytime.

OK I like Intsika but i'm busy preparing for my exams next month so plz plz Mcheesana don't forget to do reviews just for me. I love uNovie and Blazer. Whoever is behind their lines is doing a great job. I love them when they are speaking that deep funny Xhosa. I'm so into their characters.

Now i know the name of this drama Shreds and Dreams. I slept late becoz of this drama last week. Well Linda and Melusi did the dance (as Azania says). I gues Melusi was overwhelmed by the DANCE so he said something about children then uLinda told him that she is LEFETO (meaning she cant bear children and sorry about the spelling) then Melusi came with a photo of his niece and nephew ngamasbom. I think the brother just loves this chikitha and yena uLinda left her abusive polygammy husband. I think uhambele ukungazali and plus that guy (which plays by King from ZONE 14) doesn't take nonsense. I think he was abusing her thats why uLinda decided to leave him.

Yena shame uLerato Mvelase uzithandela u-suiker pa wakhe and she tried to commit suicide and the rural girl stopped her. Eish thats all i still remember.

Tshini I forgot to mention uFallen I don't watch that drama at all shem it just clatches with everything I wartch during that time. I only watched the firsst episode and that was it. Oyisayibalisi kamandi mynametjie le drama uShreds and Dreams I didn't watch last week. It plays very late man. Nam Intsika kills me with that deep Xhosa.

Fallen, i dont understand it and is not my favourite. Intsika, Xolani's anger is putting me off the drama. He should be in jail like his friend Blaze and that woman selling her child like that, the poor Lizeka is so confused now.

Zone 14 is almost like YizoX2 but i like watching it. I dont understand ntate Moloi's hatrd for the Sibiyas, i mean he claims to love Nand & Lebo but by hurting Tiger n King, Lebo n Nandi also suffer. I hope they bring him down with all his sins. Nina is a true Moloi shame Palesa is caught in their evil lives.

Shreds & Dreams, i would like to watch, what time is it playing.

Montana was not my cup of tea but I watched it. It was just like Intsika to me not that captivating but I watched. Let's hope second season will be more dramatic. Myname should do a review of Shreds and Dreams.

Intsika has really improved in the past few weeks , i cannot miss it nowadays. For me Zone 14 is just nje, i watch it because there is nothing to watch at that time.

@ pitch - Shreds and Dreams in on SABC 1 on Thursday at 10 pm it looks very hot as well. I think Linda is preggy after the dance with Melusi as she started vomiting and she went to see a doctor. We will wait and see what happens next.

All in all, for me Home Affairs will always be the best

Zone 14 is good, they have a tight true-kasi story-line. i am just surprised cheesa only saw the "Yizo Yzo" in it now (no offence Lady Cheesa :-)) Zone has always screamed YIZO, only a school is missing!

how i havent watched this Shreds and Dreams yet?

I don't watch Zone 14 anymore, it has become stale and the fact that it plays twice a week makes it worse. I watch Intsika and I always look forward to Novie and Blaze nesasiXhosa sabo esimnandi. The only dissapointment about Intsika is the lead actor Ndoda....he doesn't do it for me.

I cannot watch Shreds and Dreams....idlala ebusuku kakhulu. I have never missed a single episode of Fallen, it's my favourite at the moment...great acting and beautiful storyline.

I love Intsika now "iyavuthwa imbiza"....am I the only one that has a feeling utat'uMayor is the real father ka Lizeka? Remember the motehr doesnt want to say who her real father is and that time in hospital she is begging the mayor to take care of her.....kukhona ok'shaya manzi.

Zone 14 for me is those dramas u just watch coz they on tv just like Generations nothing wow just watchable, if I miss it fine, but if Im in the house I might aswell watch it.

havent watched Shred and Dreams yet.

Hehehe Taz no offence taken at all you're right only the school is missing on Zone14.............................................. Sobza I tried with Fallen and I still wanna know what's up there but sendi late ngoku. It clatches with Headline and Muvhango so I really have no time for it maybe when they repeat it on a time slot that I will be able to watch I might watch and see what you're talking. Yeah I saw that they have good top actors there................................................ As for Ndonda nam shem I've never liked his acting but I think its better on Intsika than other dramas I've seen him acting on........................................... Ntoko Yonda is def hottt I'm sad that I'm missing on watching that hottness lol. LoL Mynametjie lelakho ke elo gama from moi LOL! Nawe undipha qhithi amagama apha tltltltl................................................. The sad thing about Shred and Dreams is that its only a four episodes series. So in two weeks its over.

Fallen - the picture quality is very very nice but there is something wrong with the lead actor, just doesnt crack it for me and it seems to be taking so long to come to point.

intsika - i am loving it , wont miss it today.

shreds and tears - will watch it this thursday if i am not getting .......

zone 14 - i only watch popeye and spinach part and change cant the rest after that

Yah true baby e I also think that Yonda was chosen to be the lead more because of his looks and physic. I agree with you his acting needs some polishing its not there yet. Otherwise he's not bad shem. That Xhosa mixed with Zulu doesn't do it for him. I don't watch Intsika.

Although I'm not a fan but I think Zone 14 has an interesting township storyline which many people can relate to. It was the most watched drama in SA according to RAMs.

I watched Shreds & Dreams and tjoooo... It's killa. The storyline is on point and I'm gonna fast forward and declare it best drama after Intersexions. Very impressive, intense but very relevant. Love it

@Pru Luv I agree with you Shreds and Dreams rocks - those girls who wrote it, Portia Gumede and Bongi Ndaba are the best. Everything they touch is gold. They are writers on Sokhulu and Partners too, if I'm not mistaken. The plot surprises you all the time, things that are unexpected happens.

The only crit I have is that the used actors that have been in so many things. Not the actors are good, I understand why they use them but it would be nice to see new faces now and again.

So on Intsika they killed Lizeka's mother how bad is that mara??! I know she was a bad mother but I liked the character it was making me go tjo all the time. The things that mother did and said were just shocking.

And she died without telling Lizeka who her father is and she is angry with her mother for that. I wonder how is she going to find out who her father is. I am sure they will reveal this on their second season if there will be any.

I missed last night's episode of Intsika, and its the second time I am missing it. The only other episode was when poor Lizeka had to pay the mayor for taking care of her and based on what you have described Cheesa, I am glad I missed it. Poor Lizeka bantu, and she has a crazy mother. How can anyone with sanity expect their child to take care of them. Uthengisa umntana bantu.

As a TV lover who is on welfare I watch all this drama's and my absolute fauvorite at the moment is Fallen. I love the story line and the actors. In the beginning I also questioned the Zulu that is spoken with the Xhosa accent, but they included it in the details. Yonda's parents worked in the mill, and he was amongst the Zulu's abd he studied in KZN. But he was raised by his grandmom who lived in Mtata. So being a mix child myself I made perfect sense and I expected him to speak Zuxho which he does very well. The only person who I cant figure out their real intentions in the story is the character played by Xolile. She is just so unpredictable and I cant tell what she will do next. I dont want to even risk missing an episode!

Insika, was so slow in the beginning but it is starting to heat up now as we get to understand and see charcaters. The leading man though does not do it for me. He is just not convincing enough, and the mayor is another one that is misplaced. Lizeka's mom is the worst ever, that woman cant speak Xhosa and she is a terrible actress. The rest of the cast is superb and they deliver on the story line. Its strange how wise and well meaning people can also be naive at the same time.

I catched Dreams and Shreds for the fisrt time last week and I was taken by it, the actors and the storyline. I also think that Linda is pregnant! that will mean the man back at home (King on zone 14) is the one that cant have children. Tjo what if the other wives have babies, would this mean that they cheated on him just to make him happy?

I watch Zone 14 too, but there is nothing to write home about there. Its a better soapie though, and you can see its written by people that have a good understanding of black people to an extent. unlike Rythm City's Khuse family.

I think mam Nandi on zone 14 had a thing with a coach back in the days, the way she cares for this coach and mention that she will appreciate if he can come to the funeral made me wonder if she was ever dishonest to Tiger. Seeing that she is not wanting to forgive Tiger for sleeping with Selina, I wonder what influence will this have!

King is back Cheesa, ubuye when they were burying Madi and was playing the big brother I so wish I had to Mdu.

The one part I missed, is everyone thought Sledge was dead but now that he is back, no one assumed he was a ghost or gave a proper explanation for his return. They failed me there..............

I missed Intsika last night. So Lizeka is an orphan ngoku and she is going to be Mayor's full time Blow Jober ja nhe! What else happened guys. Who killed her and where was Phakama? Is she still paying hard to get with uNdoda? And the Egoli gf how is she plus ne wine yakhe? And uNdoda yena how is he with his snobbish gf?
Oh uphi uTsibaphi (Ndoda's pa) and the wife?

UXolani yena is he still the mavukengceni thug? Is he still raping his wife and beating up people? How about his boss oka Blazisko? Is he still a virgin coz my ass is still a virgin shwem? Kaloku in prison everybody is your enemy and all they want is a fresh direre.

Oh lastly is Nomvi still doing the early edition? I love this woman. Her voice and her gestures always kill me. Usalihambisa iphepha?

@pitch the drama you keep forgeting is called Montana. I loved it too its shown twice before but i never get to see how it ends somehow. i would also want it back.

I also love Zone 14 esp. popeye and spinach they make my day (or night rather). Intsika i like coz im fascinated by IsiXhosa

How can anyone with sanity expect their child to take care of them. Uthengisa umntana bantu. That was one of the shocking things about uKholeka. She wanted to be taken care of by a school going child. She didnt care about education at all.

Even though its hard to believe but there are mothers like that shem who dont wanna see their children succeed. Who are jealous in some way of their children.

Oh I hear you Nice about the Yonda thing. Good thing that they explained it so that viewers can understand his ZuluXho.

I've noticed now that mostly leading men are chosen based on their looks most of all then the rest follows. Thats the thing about this industry looks matter the most.

As for Mam Nandi and Coach I didnt notice that as maybe its coz I get to watch Zone14 from start to the end on Wednesdays.

The one part I missed, is everyone thought Sledge was dead but now that he is back, no one assumed he was a ghost or gave a proper explanation for his return. They failed me there.............. The was a time when Sledge's freind with an afro was afraid of him because he thought he was a ghost. But other people didnt seem to care about him. Nam I was confused by that storyline shem.

Yah they must bring back Home Affairs and Society. I want to see how Vuyo is going to be like now. I hope she doesnt change much because when her mother Mirriam changed it became a bit boring. I know its good thing that people change but some entertainment gets lost in some way.

I also wanna see how Akua and her sugar daddy are going to be like after she cancelled the wedding and all.

I will definately watch Shreds and Dreams tonight.

Nonto needed a clap, how could she let that ugly man take his child, especially now that they are in Joburg. She should have fought and threatened the old man.

Tjo...I watched the Shredded Dreams thing last night for the first time. I had a lump on my throat, serious, the Yoliswa character is the one that affected me most, it reminded me of Stoan of Rhythm City, now I so wanna write about it.
