Most of y’all who were following Blame It On Fame (BIOF) would know by now that the series aired its final episode this past Monday. The Twinz had a very intimate final episode viewing at Fire & Ice, inherent in the 5 Star Protea Hotel in Melrose Arch.

In their very short speech before the showing, the Twinz thanked everyone who was involved in the show, from production to PR. The show’s Producer then followed with a quick speech, enlightening all of how well the show was received, especially being aired during a tough, cut-throat and busy slot against dramas like Zone 14.

The Twinz' mother and BIOF Producer, dunno where the father disappeared toApparently, BIOF, produced by the media house Rapid Blue hit more than a million viewers in spite of etv not being available to all South Africans (now is it really for everyone?). She further mentioned that they are looking forward to a successful 2nd season coming soon…so great news for the BIOF fanatics.
Vawter was the main sponsor of the event and we bathed, drank and talked Vawter the entire night. It was bottomless and everyone drank like fish until the pipes couldn’t accomodate anymore liquid.
Brother man and wife, hope their sex-life is now better than ever, they look very happy
During the viewing, the guests were also presented with awesome platters which seemed to never end! Not so many popular faces graced the event but the stars of BIOF were all there and I managed to take a few snaps. The rest were just crew members and some etv personnel and ofcourse us :-D!

After makisto’s article on the show’s first episode review
here, do you think BIOF deserves to come back to our small screens? Did The Twinz do enough to get SA hungry for more? Was the show a “success” as per AR’s? Do we really need these kinds of reality shows?
