Good morning all...

most of the people that support Iris also support Mandla and that number is very high...It worries me, and seemingly that number is not split between Mandla and Iris. I think Iris and Mandla's ghettoness connected them to the ground roots public and that's where most votes come from...One of them will certainly be lucky.

Hi Taz... The telling thing here is last week's results... the gap between Iris and Mandla was too big. And Iris had the entire TeamLokatris behind her, which she doesn't have this week.
Mandla, on the other hand, has TeamMandlex behind him this week (which he didn't have last week), and that is a big crowd. I wouldn't be suprised if he comes out with 40% of the votes.
I predict Kat will come second at about 15%, Iris third with just over 10%. The rest nobody cares really, but I foresee Loko suprising us with 4th position ahead of MK.

From taking turns on the bikes in order to complete the Task or sitting in front of the fire together to make sure it does not go out, they are on it.

A perfect example of this is Mandla cheering on Loko and Kat while they cycled onto victory.
Dedicated MK who very admirably started the eternal flame that needs to be alight till Thursday is never alone in his conquests.

Whether it is Loko who is sitting with him talking about travel and music to keep the morale up or Mandla and Sol who just try take the high road and laugh at their situation in the best spirits.

There has never been this much commitment and togetherness amongst the Housemates, they have bound together for a higher purpose and it is a really remarkable thing to watch.

Kat has even said outright in her Diary sessions that she is pleased about the final people that are left in the House as they are all amiable, respectable people who are easy to live with.

There is truth in her words as the House has never been this clean and the tension levels this low.

What to do with R1 million? We can think of a few things. Let's help our Top 6 spend their imaginary cash.

Sol - If there's one man who loves his food, it's this guy. We've seen him working away at the contents of his plate furiously and most impressively, too many times to remember. Maybe Sol should buy a restaurant with his cash, hire the best chefs Mzansi has to offer and permanently move some of his clothes into the restaurant kitchen, just so he is close to the nibbles at all times. Apart from being a food lover, we all know Sol of the House is a deejay. Maybe he would also use his talents to sniff out and purchase a couple of old Motown records he can play while he cries himself to sleep. Why? Because Kat will totally be halfway across the world, flirting up a storm and finding new suitors. We love you Sol!

Kat - After revealing how she has a sex bucket list, we think Kat should have her people (Yes, she'll probably hire a PA) book a flight to Thailand for a wild time, in a bid to satiate her most carnal of needs. Or maybe the Red Light District in Amsterdam? After a 2 month drought courtesy of her time spent locked away in the Big Brother, we think this is exactly what she needs. What happens in Holland, stays in Holland, right Kitty Kat? Jase would probably use up his life savings and fly halfway across the world to stare at her with those beautiful eyes of his, but hey, we ain't mad at that!

Loko - This one's obvious. Shap Shaps! Lots and lots of Shap Shaps, so she can drink and be merry. Loko loves to have a good time and as we've established, a good time is where the alcohol is where Miss Thang is concerned. Bump the liquor! We'll throw in a trip to Nigeria so she can practise her already convincing accent. "Bee Brohda! One volume, please".

Mandla - Shirts, t-shirts, jackets. Thank heavens the weather is slightly chillier. We've had to contend with Mandla's man-boobs being shoved in our faces the entire Season, so we feel investing in clothing items that cover his upper body would be lekker, you know, because pneumonia is not child's play. We'd also throw in a brand new Spaza Shop, for control. And have Lexi work the till.

Iris - A volume button she can attach or connect to herself. Have you heard how loud she can get when she's excited? She's loads of fun but sometimes, things can go overboard. Also, loads and loads of teeny tiny dresses she can wear to snooty WAG parties. Of course! We'd totally buy her a top flight English footballer she can marry with that R1 million. She deserves nice things.

MK - He'd buy loads of dictionaries so he can tell everyone he knows, about everything he knows. Honestly, we've never met anyone who knows all the things he knows. A trip to Emmett in Canada, would be ideal. Those two have a lot to talk about. BFFs for life?

Mandla n Lexi have a connection. Jus pple hate Lexi for having sex on live TV. I woke up with a feeling that I have to start voting for Mandla. For some unknown reason it feels like the right thing to do. Ive decided to put aside emotions, analysis and judgement on any of the housemates and vote MANDLA!

I have never voted for him ever though I knew his humble and charismatic character deserve at least one vote from me. I still have over 400 votes left all of which will go to spaza dude!

I dont understand why lexi feel the need to justify and defend herself...it contradicts everything she pretended to stand for which proves she was fake as I always believed

Thanx@Boogs, I couldn't have said it any better. Keagan was sooo damn nasty n used ugly swear words esp against Junia and Tamaran yet got away with it all. U r sooo right abt da Richard thing too. I loved da guy but he was unscathed while Tati got labeled a husbee stealer,whore,etc. Dat was sooo unfair cuz she pretty much handed da mill to him!

About Lexi, she can say whatever she wants to say. Its her life! Heck she can change her mind n pursue Mandla after his win. Dis is real life baby n choices r made n changed all da time. She owes no one any explanation n I hope she stays true to who she is no matter da opinions of pple who think they can control what she does with her life.

Who stands a better chance in the Finale?

Big Brother Mzansi grand Finale draws nearer, we take a closer look at our last 6 housemates standing and who we think stands a better chance to walk away with the whooping R1 Million come Sunday.

In order for your favourite housemate to win, they have to accumulate as many votes as possible so as to beat the others to the jackpot. Therefore, your votes are needed this week more than ever.

They say ‘ladies first’,

so lets look at Iris first; this former Chamber-mate humbly started her Mzansi journey in the disbanded Chamber-house but later joined the main house, today, she’s the only ex-Chamber-mate still in the game. Though she’s not won any HoH tasks, she’s still managed to survive some evictions.

Kat; this very interesting lass has a had her fair share of the game but had to a big extent been associated to the men in the house, she’s had flings with the likes of Jase and Sol, the fans via social media have labelled her a ‘player’ due her antics in the house.

Loko; she has represented the Mzansi ladies quite well, having won two HoH tasks something that cemented her stay in the house, Loko seems to be on the right track. She’s been closest to Poolie who got the boot last Sunday, her other close ‘friend’ is the bottle and has had a few fights with Poolie due to drinking.

Now to the three lions in the house; Mandla, Sol and MK. While Mandla and Sol have won HoH tasks this season, the latter hasn’t been any lucky but has still managed to get this far in the game courtesy of his gentleness and the way he treats the rest of the housemates.

Mandla had formed a strong bond with Lexi until her boot last Sunday but the two have always emphasized that they are ‘just friends’.

Sol has for sometime now been after Kat but she seems to be on another floor and has never taken the poor lad’s feelings seriously.

MK he’s the kind of laid back man who seems to be the ‘under-dog’. He’s respected in the outside circles thanks to the way he treats the ladies.

We think each of these 6 characters stands a good chance at the game thus we’ve decided to leave it open and get to find out about your views.

Thank you Boogy for the Lexi thingie, double standards. Big Brother is not an early thursday service for church women, even those don't get along sometimes. She went in there to play the game, and made it clear about not having friends in the house. What i liked about her is that she wasn't pretentious unlike most of the girls there who act all holy then turn around and gossip about each other. Lexi told it straight into their faces. She reminds me of Pokelo and Oneal from last season of BBA. How Pokelo was always called arrogant for being confident, and Oneal for stating his mind he wasn't the public's favorite. People need to deal with the fact that we are all different and have different personalities. That's was just who Lexi is, she didn't have to hide it and pretend to be somebody she is not because then that will be fake.

Keagan was loud, careless, etc but I don't remember him being rude and nasty (unless he was provoked, like that annoying Namibian chick who used to be always on his case). *I stand to be corrected though* And Keagan's win was more about Prezzo than Keagan... everyone just wanted Prezzo to loose. Before (was it Nadia?) slept with him, she was the one Africa was crowning the winner, not Keagan. We all know that there was no way Africa would voluntarily just let a South African win the show.

I didn't watch the Richard/Tatiana season so I can't comment on that. I just remember Tatiana being really fun and crazy during All Stars and I loved her (except for her association with Munya!).

I am sorry, but looking someone in the eye (who hasn't done or said anything to you) and telling them you would close a door on their face bcs they are nothing as far as you are concerned... that doesn't just show nastiness, it simply says you are inhuman.

You know MsKim, we all go through stuff in life. Some worse than others...

Kat told a story of how her father was murdered (right?) and after that her father's family was fighting them and now they are struggling financially.
Mandla's mom came on TV and said they have nothing to eat because Mandla is not there.
I feel for what Lexie went through, but yes, maybe Kat's wording was wrong, but Lexie should be more sympathetic and considerate than the rest BECAUSE of what she went though, not the opposite.

Protecting yourself does not justify hurting other people. If she wanted to be all alone and not make friends in the house, why didn't she just do that? Why did she have to go on an attack every single chance she got? And then weeks later when everyone starts attacking her back, she plays the victim?

Telling Iris right as she walks thru the door that she has no desire to know her and wud actually SLAM the door on her, even before getting to say "hi" I'm not sure who died and and made her Queen of Sheba. She annoyed me sum more when she subsequently nominated Iris "because I've been trying to be friends with her and I'm tired of trying" talk of d/standards. This is what Thando and Lola disliked about her, using peeps and pretend she's the victim.

IT_Girl you are raising very crucial facts right up thereon HM...i feel the same. Lexi's case is not exceptional. How do people interpret "growing up on the streets".

Did she literally sleep in basements of buildings, eat from the bins and go without a bath for years or did she simply mean that they had no house to call home hence they had to hop from one place to another until they found a roof of their own. Many of us grew up that way!

We’ll start things off with the first rivalry; a rivalry that earned the Housemates a stern talking to from a worried Biggie. The cold war between Iris and Lexi rattled even the iciest of ice berg with Iris confessing to hating Lexi. (Gasp!) When Lexi couldn’t be bothered to welcome former Chambermate Iris when she arrived, hostility grew a pair and ran rife with various divisions taking foot.
Many had reason to believe that the conflict lay in Lexi’s territorial ways, some were convinced she was insecure about a spark igniting between Mandla and her nemesis. But did Iris have to gossip about Lexi behind her back in a language she wouldn’t understand? And how a far a role had Kat played in deepening their divide?

On a lighter note, Sol of the House has provided ample entertainments and laughs. Whether we were laughing at him or with him remains to be seen. From trying his luck with our resident femme fatale Kat to riling up everyone in every conversation.Big Brother seems to have taken a liking to this brash ball of mischief having taken him on two Secret getaways. The first was with Kgosi to a Secret Island of Paradise and then recently he was gate crashed into Suite 501 to share in Kat’s reward.

STOLEN-----During the 'Fear Factor' task, Biggie calls out statue. In walks Lola, looking gorgeous with flaming red hair! She goes to MK and tells him to stop having fun with Iris and Kat. That Iris is the second wife after all! She kisses Loko on the cheek and says its from Poolie.

HMs are now speculating whether she was flown in for this surprise, or whether all evictees are hanging around until the end of the game.
How right they are, except that the end will be sooner than they think!

13:46 The Housemates are summoned to the garden and their Task is about to begin. Biggie is now sharing instructions with the Housemates.

13:25 No drama and less tension. The Housemates are reminiscing about all the salad days that they each have had in the House.

13:00 Ok, Loko was called to collect a Task brief and it reads that the Task for today requires bravery. Housemates need to do some guessing after putting their hand one by one inside ten opened boxes which will be placed in the garden.

Snakes, worms and spiders in the House!

Sometimes it's better to see than to touch. That's rather contradictory when we've seen tears rolling down some Housemates during the Statue sessions, all because they couldn't touch their loved ones.

With a wall with pigeon holes leading to containers with mysterious objects in them, the Housemates had to take turns feeling what was in their chosen containers.

Mandla was first in the gallows and after worming his hand around the container, he guessed that what he was feeling could have been a centipede.

Followed by a shaking Kat, tears rolled down her cheeks with ease as she made her way towards the wall of mysteries. Luckily enough, Kat was spot-on with her guess that her container had snakes. The terror in her eyes could have sunk Loko who was still in line.

"It's got six legs, so it's a spider," Sol said in confidence. Even though it was a spider, Sol of the House was mistaken about the number of legs. Spiders have eight legs hence they are called arachnids.

Armed with a cigarette in one hand, Loko passed as the most dramatic. After several attempts at sticking her right hand in the pigeon hole, she eventually managed to brave her fear and guessed "jelly". She was pretty close as it was goo.

Iris milled her way through the first container, which had fish eggs and shifted to one with corn starch and water. For some reason though, Iris quickly screamed; "crocodile Biggie". Really Iris? Crocodile?

For MK, being distracted by Biggie's Statue session didn't deter him from correctly guessing that he felt a silicone hand in the container.

So MMY WAS trying hard to figure out what could be the reason behind Lolas return to Jozi so quick. And his trail of thoughts was derailed by other housemates like Loko saying it makes financial sense for Biggie to keep everyone in Jozi until the finale. Haven't these kids done maths? I agree with @Abby this was a clear hint and they all kissed it...kuchinas!!

Or Lola could simply be in Johannesburg on her personal capacity... and Biggie decided to take advantage of the situation...???

Nah, a disqualification is too harsh. Besides, all rules for disqualificating must be communicated to house-mates up-front, so Biggie would have clearly stated gore failing teh statue task is a disqualificable offence...

He will have a hard time finding proper punishment though because there's no option of putting him for automatic nomination.

If Sol's theory is anything to go by, then; "Mandla and Kat will sleep together and they will kiss, if they haven't already and Mandla will be left with an egg on his face". This is just how telling today's Diary sessions were.

As Kat's ex-fling, Sol found it in his authority to be the judge in all this. He said he was worried about Kat's behaviour and that of his buddy, Mandla around her. "Mandla's been cheering on Kat while she was cycling," Sol confided in Big Brother. He added that Kat's way with the men of the House was bothering him as it had now dawned on him that Kat could be just playing the game. "I don't think she's that loose. I think it comes from a very calculated place. She's probably on a particular mission, which she has told you in the Diary room," Sol added.

Iris came down hard on Lexi, saying she's finally having a peaceful night's sleep now that she's out of the House. "I don't have someone who will cause drama out of the blue, someone who will look at me cross-eyed," she added.

It seems Lexi will always have a special place in her beau Mandla's heart though. "I don't think I'll find anyone like her in here or outside the House," he told Biggie. Though he enjoys the time that he's been spending with Kat, Mandla said it would be unfair to compare the two ladies. "I don't think I'll be getting cosy with anyone any time soon," he insisted.

Meanwhile, the feisty Kat is just happy to be sharing a bedroom with her 'Mandels', as she now refers to Mandla. "I call it the penthouse now," Kat bragged. Without letting anything slip, Kat dwelled on filling Biggie in on one man that she loved and lost.

When Biggie brought up the subject of the alpha male and the alpha female; some of the confident Finalists referred to themselves while others pointed at the likes of Sol, Loko, MK and Iris.

Mandla: "Loko is more boyish than female but that doesn't mean she can't be alpha female. Iris is the female version of Sol, she's very fun."

Iris: "Between Sol and MK as they are both opinionated and controlling. I'm not sure between me and Loko because Kat is 'chillaxed'. Loko is strong physically, we're both loud and ratchet."

MK: "Loko has that commanding demeanor. She's tough, she's strong and can be boyish and girlish when she likes."

Kat: "The alpha male is definitely Sol. When he wasn't here, the House was so quiet. The alpha female is myself. When I wasn't here, people cracked. I am the link between Lokiris. Iris is the alpha female because she's just as loud as Sol."

These are the thoughts of your Finalists Mzansi and as the Finale draws nearer, paranoia sets in and MK even had a bad episode of sleepwalking last night. This also formed a significant part of today's Diary sessions.
