International Emmy nods for Loyiso, MasterChef

Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola and MasterChef South Africa have received nominations for the prestigious International Emmy Awards.

Late Nite News, which airs on eNews and e.tv, is produced by eNews and Diprente Productions and has been nominated in the Comedy category. M-Net's MasterChef SA is produced by Quizzical Pictures and Lucky Bean Media and has received a nod in the Non-Scripted Entertainment category.

The mission of the awards is to honour and encourage excellence in television programming outside the United States. Both Late Nite News and MasterChef are up against three shows. This is what their categories look like:

The ceremony will take place in New York and is traditionally preceded by a festival that airs each of the series that have been nominated.

The awards take place on Monday, 25 November 2013.

Loyiso annoys me but that show is good I hope they win. MC is not a South African show I don't see anything different from the original franchise. Tis what it is.
