After a fun-filled year punctuated by an explosion of TV chatter, crazy schlebs, reality lows, renewals, cancellations, scandals and other pandemonium, the time has come for the TVSA staff to take our annual breather to refresh for 2013.

As a result we'll be pausing regular daily content until the new year, specifically: daily news and informational articles. Of course bloggers are welcome to continue blogging and the site remains open and pulsing for everyone.

We've organised as much as possible to get you through the break. You'll find show highlights and premieres for each day of the hiatus.

The premieres appear at the top of the TVSA homepage and feature all details for each show, including info about the cast in the actor biographies. Don't forget that you can scroll through the premieres by using the arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the premieres box.

We've also made sure to leave a whammy of all the soapie teasers for January so that no soapie lover goes without their fix. You'll find them on the homepage and in the soapies section.

A headsup that we still to need to add teasers for Days of our Lives and All My Children which are being impacted by the cricket on SABC3. Once we have confirmed details on how the cricket impacts on them we'll add them.

During our holidays we'll be partying while getting ready for BIG things in 2013 so get ready to climb aboard because fabulous things are going rock the site next year.

We'd like to send a shoutout to you all - to our readers, bloggers, moderators, members and advertisers - everyone who's been involved with TVSA this year ... we wish you a merry (hic!) Christmas and a wild and prosperous New Year.

We'll be back.

On Monday 14 January 2013. Farewell 'til then!
