GRAND FINAL OF 2012 MTV BASE VJ SEARCH TO TAKE PLACE IN JOHANNESBURG
Who'll win a life changing entertainment gig with MTV Base and e.tv?
Three of Mzansi’s brainiest and most beautiful sistas are counting down to 20 October - the day they find out which one of them has won the hottest gig in music and youth TV: the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search.
The MTV Base VJ Search Grand Final will air on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and e.tv on Saturday 20 October @ 18:05 CAT.
Going head-to-head in the last stage of the TV talent search are: Benoni-born, Randburg-based Communication Sciences student Nomuzi Mabena (@NoMoozlie), Cape Town’s Film, Media & Politics student Naledi Radebe (@Leddi_G) and Durban-born Accounting student Nomzamo Mbatha (@NomzamoMbatha).

Taking place on Saturday 20 October at über-cool Jo’burg club Taboo, the MTV Base VJ Search Grand Final will see Nomuzi, Naledi and Nomzamo put through their paces in front of celebrity judges Bonang Matheba (@Bonang_M), HHP (@HipHopPantsula), Azania Mosaka (@Azania_) and Tim Horwood (@timohorwood).
Veteran MTV Base VJ Sizwe Dhlomo and e.tv presenter Mo Flava will share emcee-ing duties at the gig.
Among the celebrity artists appearing on the MTV Base VJ Search Grand Final will be L-Tido, AKA and Toya Delazy, who’ll be performing some of their hottest tracks, and helping one of the gals achieve her dreams of stardom.
The ultimate victor will join Sizwe Dhlomo (who won his own MTV Base VJ job back in 2005) on MTV Base’s in-house talent roster, presenting her own show on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and featuring regularly on e.tv’s top music show, Club 808, alongside Dineo Ranaka and Mo Flava.
