DJ Warras to Amp up Live

DJ Warras Large

Durban-born DJ and YFM jockey DJ Warras a.k.a. Warrick Stock a.ka. The Shady Lurker has been signed to take over from Bonang Matheba on the new Live.

The revamped season of the show was supposed to premiere last week but was delayed and will be going Live tonight (Friday, 21 September), under the reloaded title of Live Amp.

As reported on TVSA when Bonang signed out, Live presenter search winner Luthando Shosha will be staying with the show - DJ Warras joins her to host as a combo.

The show will also be introducing a new set and logo tonight and will be celebrating the relaunch with a flashy party in Sandton while the new season debuts on TV.

The series remains in its 21h00 timeslot on SABC1.
