@ AmANDaCT: Just read your comments yesterday, and I agree 300% with you.

His ‘Ma se p@#$’ slurs are just not kosher. And he is using it even more and more. I have watched for 30 minutes this morning, and he used it twice. He even threw in the very infamous ‘k@nd’ word. Twice.

I am not sure how it is being deem in other countries, but in my country, if someone throws the ‘Ma se p@#$/ k@nd’, I would lay a criminal case against that person without batting an eyelash.

I am waiting for the moment that he throws those exact slurs at us, the viewers, like he did with the bastard insult….

He may think that it is cool, and that he is so special by dishing out those slurs. He may even think that he is special enough to get away with it. But he is not.
It is about basic respect. And he has none.

His age is no excuse. Even my 14 year old nephew knows better.

I watched a bit last night some of the stuff I PVrd, but it just made me to get on my soap box. The One Campaign is so close to my heart. Thought that the task was such a great idea; BB even got the housemates to fast in solidarity.

But then some of these idiotz used the task as an ideal campaigning tool. Now that ish is not cool. Paranoia even broke down in the diary room, the whole water works. Just before that cry me a river scene, she and the remaining members of the Powerpuff Girl clan discussed how they will buy the most expensive bottle of Tequila, the one with the worm in it, and get sloshed.

Them getting drunk while working on such a important campaign just don’t sit not well with me,… and then use it as a cheap campaigning ride. Not on. The campaign deserves more respect.

I can't pick on him for his swearing because other than make my ears bleed and his manner of speech grating because it sounds so crass and uneducated, I'd say Afro Goatee and Paranoia are alomost as bad. I don't understand Greencard when he speaks and have no knowledge of Afrikaans and don't know what that particular slur means so, like most of Africa, that bit may pass me by.

But what I will never let go of is the casual racist attitude and blanket offensive and racist statements ... not even his age can excuse those. If you commit a crime at age 22, aren't you tried as an adult because you're, well ... an ADULT? Right now, I'm not sure who I'll support in the final week, but I know it won't be him.

Thanks WSG, I think if the uhdikts knew the meaning behind all those swear words, they would not find it entertaining at all. Keagan has his moments when I think he's really funny, but I honestly cannot handle his swearing. If he stuck to using the f word then it would be tolerable, but those other profanities are below the belt. I think Wati gave him the crazy idea that Africa loves it, which is why he has progressed in his swearing. Junia was one of the only housemates who put Keagan in his place. I am from the same area as Keagan is from and trust me, he would not dare speak to anyone from his neighbourhood the way he carries on in the house. That's not entertainment...

@bukhoza12 - Keagan's excuse for not speaking Afrikaans is based on what happened in the past, he might be referring to apartheid, I don't know. He tried to explain it to the housemates when he and Junia spoke to the Upvillers about their confrontation in Downville. I seriously don't know why he doesn't want to be associated with Afrikaans, yet most of his swear words are afrikaans?? Keagan should not win because he will most definitely head back to the USA with the $300k.

Mrs Chix it's not about SA hating SA. Keagan does not represent the whole of SA and I personally don't find him entertaining all the time. I loved Karen last year and she was from Nigeria, before that I supported Sheila (Kenya), Tatiana (Angola), Munya (Zimbabwe) - this is a show, and the best contestant should win. This is not the Olympics nor is it a Rugby match, because then you will find SA supporting SA. Just because I'm South African does not mean that I am forced to support Keagan. I supported Keagan once upon a time, I no longer support him.

I have been a regular on the TVSA BBA blog since the 1st/2nd season, and what I have always appreciated about the TVSA BBA blog, is that one was always allowed to express your honest opinions.

Why the sudden advocating for ‘preferential censoring’?

If this is now a Keagan Fan Page, then by all means, the blog should be renamed. Then I would certainly stop airing my views.

@Mrs Chix: If I remember correctly, you have said, countless times, that you are no longer watching the show. I get that. But I am still watching the show. And I am reacting on what I am watching. Unfortunately, for Keagan fans like yourself, I find his ongoing insults unacceptable. As such, I will react and comment on that.

I do think that if you have watched the show yourself, you would not have been this bias about him.

I have to agree with WSG...I'm on study leave and have been watching the show, Keagan makes me cringe, every sentence has to include the F-bomb....it is becoming excessive....he even added that C*&* word.

Unfortunately he makes it look cool and people like Talia kinda try to keep up, Junia was on another tip too...

I don't have issues with Keagan, but on this particular issue of slurs,he must tone it down!!!

But the reality is that this is how generally coloureds converse, it's normal.

I was shocked recently at the shopping mall, a mother, older and younger son are shopping for clothes, the younger one tells the mother that he needs to use the toilet, they ignore him, then he starts crying, the mother asks the teenage/older boy to take him, tjo he started shouting at the young one "F you, you want to Kak, F you, Let go motherF...screaming at him all the way" the mother just went on with her shopping, I concluded it is normal....while I was shocked at the rage shown and language used towards that boy

Anyhow Maymay is my winner, and out of the rest of the devils left in there, Keegan can have it if Maymay doesn't get it. @Posh I think they all need bleach to wash they fowl mouths, I honestly dunno who is worse, its like saying who is the bigger sinner. @Mrs Chix: I don't update because I am only watching PVRd session. However, since there are only 7 housemates, with very little activity, the louder ones are fighting for air time. And then they start throwing the f-bombs.

Keagan, unfortunately, are one of the louder housemates. And unfortunately, his behaviour, like Posh said above, is becoming extremely excessive. That is why he is trending.

For example, today only, he used those words over and over again.

He even made up a song: "Hy is n mal naai, mal naai,.... Sy Ma se P@#$',...

There is just no words for me to describe how offensive I am finding that.

I am sorry, but everytime he utters those words, which is now frequently, I am forwarding, or changing the channels. And then I am left with those words running mad in my head.

What is worse, Talia and Wati, are picking up on the "Ma se P#@$' thing,.. I don't know if they know what it means, but since the finals are looming, the housemates are doing everything, desperate albeit, to be seen and heard. Not original, just eff bombs and desperate campaigning ish. And they think Keagan is cool, and his utterings are cool.

Talia is one of those housemates. She would doing anything. So, she is licking but, cursing anything that she thinks sound cool.

It has to be Kyle from Uganda. I talked to him as my boy from a neighbouring country but he kept looking down upon me, especially when talking about issues. I wish he knew how much I could embarrass him, only that I decided to keep quiet.

I guess we now know why he was so quick to nominate Kyle.

I have been following the comments here and tried to keep away but I need to get this off my chest! No matter what KEAGAN is, No matter how lousy his accent is, he is one of us (HE IS A SOUTH AFRICAN) and we need to support him. If you feel strong about his behaviour (I Do not approve and he pisses me off too) dont show other countries how unpatriotic we are. Dont vote for him! but dont diss him continually on forums. Lets show unity and we will deal with him and his ways when he comes out. I didnt like LERATO and LUCLAYS' behaviour but I campaigned for them like mad! See how PREZOO is not liked in Kenya but since he is in the show they LOVE him (evil or sadistic as he is) and am sure they still hate him at home. Other countries stand united in competitions but us we are always hating on each other which is so SAD! Hope I am making sense and thisnis just my opinion.

Is there a language (not English) that all South Africans speak or understand and use as a lingua franca when speaking to people not of their tribe? Or do different parts of the country use/understand a different language? And is Afrikaaans South Africa's second language? Nst, In SA, there are 11 official languages, english and afrikaans included, none is supposed to be superior than the other. Just that for academic and business purpose english is preferred like other african countries prefer French, depends on the colonizers. In SA we sort of had two colonisers fighting to rule the land, the brits and the dutch, the dutch/afrikaners had a stronger hold than the english so that if apartheid had its way long enough without the british interfering, afrikaans/dutch would be the prefered language of business and academic. NOW, as much as all languages are equaly official, english is the most preferred when all 11 languages are involved. I know u ask about any other language besides english. Yoh its a tough one. In the mines, they used this made up language combining all eleven called "fanakalo", only miners and engineering and construction pple tend to get this lingo, like pigin english. In general society yoh, there is no common language to all SAans besides english. You have portions of people who can understand some of the 11 languages, good portions, but equally, you have those who only know their one language, plus english sometimes even no english in the case of the oldest uneducated people, so that if that old person was lost in a different province, they wouldn't understand any of the other 10 languages.

Now, Afrikaans, it is not SA second language, there is no first, nor second language post 1994, for business purposes one could say english is, but everyone has a right to do business in any one of the 11 languages they understand. BUT like I said pre 1994, Afrikaners would have had Afrikaans be the only official language and the others secondary, so they already had entities that dealt only in afrikaans, eg, universities and unfortunately those universities still remain. Post 1994 they were forced t include english, but u still have lectures done in english and afrikaans, exams papers are in english and afrikaans on one side. It creates the air that Afrikaans is regarded as second to english in the academic and business space, BUT its not official. There are people, black activists who are campaigning for linguists to translate learning material into the other ethnic languages, and teach in those languages like Afrikaners have the privillage, which is afforded to them by our awesum constitution. But its a challange. Afrikaaners had their dutch backround and years of translating learning material from other languages into afrikaans and teaching in afrikaans, they are miles ahead, infact they are as sorted as the french , chinese etc. So that creates the 'air' that English and Afrikaans are superior, even post 1994 when all 11 are official.

Keegan's denouncing afrikaans is weird, for someone with a white complex. It baffles me. He has been brainwashed to think whites are better than blacks, yet he claims to hate afrikaans for (I suppose) atrocities done by afrikaners (whites) in the past. I hate afrikaans for those atrocities, fact about me, I despise the language, yeah I drop it in tsotsi taal here and then, but I generaly hate afrikaans. Maybe Keegan does hate it for those past reasons, and I don't blame him for it. I can understand why 'coloured SAns' who speak afrikaans would hate him for it thou....another looong story. Nst, our race issues are NOT just black and white, literaly and figuratively speaking.

@nst we have 9 provinces neh and 11 official languages,so each province has its own indiginous language say for instance if I say am from the Eastern Cape or Western cape and black, one would automatically think am xhosa coz thts the language black people from these provinces speak. If you from Gauteng obviously tswana/sotho/isiZulu. So its rare for a Sesotho or tswana speaking person to understand me when I speak or write isiXhosa coz our provinces are different and do not speak the same language.
