the significance of sports

serena williams just won the wimbledon title and this really made me to think about the significance of sports and really just how as a country we should encourage such.when i was in primary i was an athlete and when i went to secondary i sort of left running because i was young and no one really encouraged me to keep going and even told me that i could turn this talent that i had in to reality and actually make a living out of
one of the things that we South Africans need to really  do is to develop the love for different sports in our children at a tender age.serena williams did not start at 30 but started very young age.so as many athlete, swimmers, soccer player just to name a few. lets help rural villages with sporting facilities it does not have to be expensive think about tennis balls, netball balls or even giving your time just to teacher them how to swim
we need to encourage the next generations so to avoid things like unemployment, teenager doing drugs and gang rape.
