Monday 21 May 2012

David chats to Jon Cryer from Two and a Half Men. He talks about his role as Alan Harper and how the show dynamics have changed since Ashton Kutcher has joined.

The second guest is Tommy Johnagin. The comedian performs his stand-up routine where he jokes about the pros and cons of living with his girlfriend and being forced to do the things he wouldn’t normally do.

Lighting up the stage is musical guest M.Ward who perform their first single Primitive Girl from their album A Wasteland Companion.

Kelly Ripa is tonight’s first guest. She chats about her on-going search for a new "Live! With Kelly" co-host. Ripa's been fronting the show with a series of guest hosts since Regis Philbin retired in November 2011.

The second guest is Adam Scott who explains how easy it is to get him to party. The actor who's best known for his role in “Parks and Recreation” also talks about his excitement for the fifth season of the show.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass amplify the stage as tonight’s musical guest. The group perform their song Roadie off the new Tenacious D album titled Rize of the Fenix.

NBC newsman Brian Williams headlines the show tonight and does a Regis Philbin impression.

Also, El-P showcases his new solo album titled Cancer 4 Cure. He's backed by an ensemble that includes Islands’ Nick Thorburn.



Thursday 24 May 2012

Betty White chats about her role in Hot in Cleveland and David tells her that she should run for presidency.

David also chats to Iraq war veteran Corporal Moses Maddox.

The final guests are musical group Best Coast. The band  performs Each and Every Day from the album titled The Only Place.



Friday 25 May 2012

Conan O’Brien headlines the show tonight. The two late-night hosts, who share the fact that they both lost the “Tonight” show to competitor Jay Leno, meet for the first public conversation in over 13 years.

The appearance marks Conan’s fifth time appearing on the late-night TV show. Letterman prods Conan to show a clip that he brought with him that turns out to be the trailer for his upcoming movie.

Also featured: John Mayer. John sits in with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra.



The Late Show With David Letterman is on SONY Mondays to Frdays at 23h15.
