Making their network television debut is Los Angeles outfit, Electric Guest. Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton, the duo began writing and collaborating together on songs that now make up their debut album titled, ‘Mondo’. They entertain guests with a live performance of their hit single “This head I hold”

  • Tonight’s first guest is Dr. Phil McGraw. He talks to David about critical issues of our time including the silent epidemics like childhood bullying, depression and child abuse.

  • Also on the show is Beth Behrs, best known for her role as the prissy formerly privileged Caroline Channing on ‘2 Broke Girls’. She reveals more about herself and discusses where we can see her on our screens in 2012.

  • The musical guest is Spiritualized.

  • David welcomes Emmy and Golden Globe award winner Jim Parsons as his first guest. Best known as the awkward Sheldon Cooper on the CBS television series The Big Bang Theory, Jim gives a breakdown of the man behind the screen and what his everyday life is like after he kicked the habit.

  • Mika Brzezinski, co-host of the weekday morning talk show “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, also visits.

  • Macy Gray is tonight’s musical guest. She performs from her latest album Covered.

  • Tonight's headline guest is Eva Longoria who opens up about Desperate Housewives now that the show's over in the US - how does she really feel about the other Desperate Housewives?

  • Fans are in for another TV treat with an appearance from the fierce redhead, fondly known as Flo, from Florence and the Machine. She talks about the group’s latest album release titled ‘Ceremonials’.

  • The final guest Booker T. Jones. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer and arranger, is best known as the frontman of the band Booker T. & the M.G.'s. He has also worked in the studios with many well-known artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, which earned him a Grammy Award for lifetime achievement.

  • Most pregnant women feel a little sensitive about their size and appearance at some stage, and Elizabeth Banks’ pregnant sister Sarah may be feeling just a little more sensitive than most. The star of the upcoming pregnancy-themed movie "What To Expect When You're Expecting," shows a photo of her and Sarah wearing wetsuits, only for host David Letterman to poke fun at her sister.

  • Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros are tonight’s musical guest, playing out the show with tracks from their latest album released titled, ‘Here’.
