Psyfo is ‘Number 1’ on Channel O and Vuzu
Psyfo’s video for the hit track “Number 1” featuring TeePee makes its debut on Channel O and Vuzu’s V-Entertainment this Friday (13 April)
The video is produced for the rapper by Pilot Films and sets a new benchmark for videos - not surprising given Psyfo’s background as an actor in Generations and various other productions. “Number 1” is taken off Psyfo’s latest record - Music, Love and Fame - which features production from Amunishn, Mizi, Octave Couplet and Psyfo himself.
Filmed at the Pyramid Conference Centre in Johannesburg as well as on location in Hartbeespoort, “Number 1” sees Psyfo in a T.I vs TIP setup as he races against himself to prove that he is always number 1. Fast-paced cutting and, of course, superb performances from Psyfo give the video momentum - turning it into a breakneck speed ride that no fan of this young gifted rapper will want to miss!
Psyfo - who played the role of Ajax in Generations for four years - has rapidly become a triple threat on the South African entertainment scene. An actor, a musician and a producer (he has produced for everyone from Mandoza to DJ Franky under his own Sid Records label); Psyfo has once again proved his multi-talents with “Number 1”.
