Will shows like Montana and Home Affairs ever emerge on our screens? Those two drama series are the best we've had in a long time. Well scripted, groundbreaking performances and stella execution. To be quite honest, We need shows like those, where everything is just flawless and epic. I know we have 'Skeem Saam' which is actually not bad. All I'm saying is, shows like this should be broadcasted left, right and centre as they are relevant to our society and they bring the best in South African arts. Of course, epic productions need epic actors. People like Camilla Weldman(Anne De Vilias from Generations), Chichi Letswalo, etc were just incredible. But where are they? We need characters like that back into our television screens and SA tv industry will shoot for the stars. Its not like I'm not acknowledging new talent, I really do, but they need veterans to show them exactly how its done.. Writers should also be on point, because they basically run the ship. Its their fault as well, since they are the creative juices behind them story lines. Big ups to Bongi Ndaba for those amazing scripts. We can do it, I know we can.
