Rolling With ... not Zola

Zola Large Final

Confirmed!

e.tv have confirmed that Blame It on Fame's been signed for second season and it's looking very likely that So What will be too.

Goss from an insider is that both series will return quite early in 2012, possibly in April already so that there isn't a huge break between the two seasons.

Also definitely confirmed is another season of Rolling With ... not Zola. Turns out the series was never created to only focus on Zola but rather as a series to roll with different personalities each season.

I didn't know this when Rolling With Zola premiered  - I thought it would return to roll with him through different adventures. The current season wraps on Sunday, 18 December and it'll return later next year to roll with someone else. Right now the big question is: who should it be?

The show hasn't chosen a Season 2 personality yet so it's all very open-ended as to who it could be. And of course who it shouldn't be.

I've been pondering who and these are my top 3 choices for it:

Archbishop Tutu
He'd make good entertainment with his explosions of giggles and he'd have issues with people and happenings so he'd have a lot to say all of the time. We could also get insights into his family, friends and private life.

Steven Pienaar
Has an intriguing career, private life and style - and he's hott. The season could roll with him as he searches for up-and-coming soccer stars and a babe who won't sue him.

Debra Patta
Would be cool to roll with her outside of 3rd degree don't you think? Does she have casual clothes? How does she prepare for the show? What does she face behind-the-scenes? How do people respond when she complains about bad service while shopping?

As for who should definitely not be rolled with - these are my top 3 no-no's:

Steve Hofmeyr
Felicia Mabuza-Suttle
Jub Jub

Agree/disagree? Who would you like to see?

@Cnglemother Sonia's marriage SMH..she's forever out on events solo, she doesn't look like she's happy at home..when she goes to all these events, who keeps hubby company? Not saying she shouldn't go out but almost all events and solo while married and not really an ambassador or promoting some product, look at Connie Ferguson, balanced lifestyle!

Tashi, very wierd choices you've got there.
The Pienaar choice will be very difficult and a bit boring.
the crew has to stay in North London and most of it will be training, visiting the Physio, playing reserve games and maybe saturday night clubbing.

My vote is for Kabelo, Bouga Louv. Ithink it will be enlightening, educative and probably inspiring.

LOL Tashi...oh I would enjoy Rolling with Tutu for the reasons you mention. I adore! that old man hle. I saw a headline where he said regarding global warming the "earth could go poof!", just picturing him saying that has me in stitches all the time. Bless him.....I get him, I respect him.

@Mbu...I defs agree with rolling with Kabelo Mabalane. I am so so SO disheartened that no one seems to be celebrating his summuting expeditions. Am looking forward to hear how the Mount Aconcagua summit went. I also hope that following his win of the best presente ya that sport show that I USED TO ENJOY!...I hope he will get to host another sport show. I love the man of God that he is.

I don't think Tutu will be interesting, and I doubt Pienaar and Debora would agree. I wouldn't mind DJ Sbu, HHP and even Malema!

Cnglema & posh.....rumour has it that there's serious drama in that household. Something about an illegitimate child somewhere in the leafy surburb of Fourways

I was glad Zola was bouncing back but right now i aint rolling with him. I think he  has changed. There is too much of himself in his head.

I think i need someone genuine....dunno who but someone who can balance his/her career and being in the public eye. He/she should be an outgoing person and adventurous. Someone interesting....who has different lifestyles.

Ooorryyts....Realtalk Taz you were eloquent, ga o tshabe camera. You are doing good job with writting, now perhaps you guys can also do some tv sa videos, better yet go audition for presenting gigs. Extra income is the current buzz word, if u have resources and skillss, use them to make that money.

@myname I agree Zola has lost it.. He obsessed with journos who are supposedly trying to destroy him.....I'd like to see Benny Mcarthy diva antics...Kabelo 'amapatsula ajabulile' his life is intriguing a pastor who sings about ama pantsula and a road runner etc cause to sing about pantsula's he must be in touch with the lifestyle somehow, its should be interesting!
