i 've been on a national youth program. 3 months trainings n aftr that practical. my problm with this progrm is that the contractors that the learners fall undr sumtimes take advantage! we've done our 3months training n 've been almst +-5 months on site (our contract states that wen we go on site the contractrs should give us new contracts) n we've not been given 1! So, we've practicaly been working 4 this company without contracts, n wen we ask abt the contracts they give us answers like; the printer doesn't 've ink or it will next week etc.. We did labour work 4 R50 a day! Also sum pple get paid there full amount even wen they've not been there n others gets only the days money they worked! We get paid R250 a week. I just want 2 knw how can they pay us R50 a day but we've not signed any contracts with the contractors. Sum of us 've been booked off 4 3weeks now by them but we don't get paid...

Tjo, they are using yall. Why dont u complain at the Youth Programme that recruited you for these contracts? Or you might not even get far with that as you might find that these 'companies'' are owned by friends of the people running this youth programme, meaning they are recruiting students to work for the companies under the disguise of a 'youth skills programme'.......sigh............Complain untill you are heard or remain a slave untill you are sold to the next owner.
