Episode Title: Secrets and Lies
Teaser ...In a township near Cape Town, a study has shown that over a period of three months young men had an average of six sexual partners each. Most of these encounters happened while they were in steady relationships with girlfriends.
This trend of having regular sex with a number of different partners, is fuelling the spread of HIV. For every two people put on ARVs, another five are HIV+.
In a series of frank discussions with men and women living with HIV/AIDS, 3rd Degree puts their choices about sexuality and relationships under the spotlight. What emerges, is a picture of female vulnerability and male dominance.
