It’s the latest celebrity ‘addiction’ to titillate readers of the tabloids - the compulsion to have sex, virtually daily, with strangers.

But many ordinary people are coming out of the closet and admitting they have a real problem. That their desire to have sex is all consuming - and it is ruining their lives.

One man told 3rd Degree he had over a thousand partners in one year. A woman described how she would spend her whole working day planning her next sexploit - and her terrible depression afterwards.

3rd Degree tells the stories of a number of addicts and their long-suffering partners - and looks at their journeys back to a healthy life.

3rd Degree is on e.tv on Tuesdays at 21h30.

I know people who do these sorts of things but the sad thing is they are in denial and its sad that this sh*t is destroying them slowly.....

This is a sad reality, coz sexploiters feel like cr*p afterwards. You find that omunye has real underlying issues that they think they can cover up nge-s*x. So we can joke about it and even go as far as judging and labelling them, but at the end of the day, they and God are the only ones that really know the actual truth

YEah Zah but the problem is if umuntu engafuni uncedo, I have an ex who is currently screwing anything that walks but the sad thing he thinks angazi wenzani and I have tried to help but he dont seem to realise he's got a problem.

so as much as they have issues they have to acknowledge that they do nee help cause that is the worse kind of self destruction one can put themselves under....

yho Kele..thats scary sisi..scary..ive been watching a lot of peadophile shows on Oprah and women do this as well and associated trauma is just as bad as little girls being fondfled by men..if not worse....
That woman must be injvestigated...sounds like she has a serias problem....

But this thing of celebs and sex rehab is just waaaay too much now, hopefully it does good to bring forward this problem even for ordinary people because yes its real.....otherwise it may trivialise the legitimate causes out there....
