Southland is an action drama series that looks at the lives of cops, criminals, victims and their families.
John Cooper (played by Michael Cudlitz) is a seasoned Los Angeles cop, assigned to train young rookie Ben Sherman (Benjamin McKenzie).
Cooper's honest, no-nonsense approach to the job leaves Sherman questioning whether or not he has what it takes to become a police officer.
Other cast members include Regina King, who plays Detective Lydia Adams. Adams lives with and is the primary caregiver of her mother. Her partner, Detective Russell Clarke (Tom Everett Scott) is an unhappily married father of three.
Michael McGrady plays Detective Daniel "Sal" Salinger. Sal oversees fellow detectives who include patrol officer Chickie Brown (Nate Moretta), a single mom who dreams of being the first woman accepted into SWAT.

Toughest Cowboy is an American rodeo reality series featuring 12 real-life cowboys in a struggle of man vs. beast on a quest for the ultimate prize: a ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming.
The cowboys ride in the three of the most dangerous riding disciplines: bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding and bull riding.
Each week, one competitor is sent home in a head-to-head, knock out bull riding match.
