Please note: if you're watching American Idol  9 on M-Net Series, this includes spoilers for this coming Saturday's Results Show (on 27 March) so you may prefer to return once the episode's been on. xoxo

This
is .... *think a build-up so HUGE that it couldn't get any bigger - if it did it would explode the screen into a million pieces of Ridiculous *

.... American Idol

Starring Ryan Seacrest, a smackable internet troll who spoils the results of reality shows for people who haven't watched yet.

Yup, believe dat.

Last week he caused AI-distress in the US and right here (I almost had a heart attack) when he spoiled the results of the latest American Idol elimination before a majority of people had seen it.

Because of the time differences in the US, the show reaches the East Coast first. It airs on the East Coast and then on the West Coast (including Los Angeles) a couple of hours later as time catches up.

Just as the show finished filming - before everyone on the West Coast or the rest of the world had seen it - Ryan posted this Tweet:

Packed radio show tomorrow...got tonight's voted-off idol lacey brown, @orianthi, @thedavidcook, & dakota fanning with deets on eclipse

All Ryan twollowers (he has over 3million) saw it pop up and those who hadn't seen the show yet were spoiled.

It happened to me and I thought I was spoiled until I realised that I'd misread it. I tweard him say: got tonight's voted-off idol katie stevens,

Seriously - right up until I watched the show on Sunday I thought it was her - wishful thinking natch. It seemed to make such total sense in my mind that I changed it without knowing.  I'm not a Lacey fan but my thinking was that if Tim Urban didn't get whacked, it would be Katie.

As for spoilsport Ryan and the results of it all - he's been totally twilent on the matter. He hasn't tweeted a word about the fiasco or offered any sort of: "This is ...*more huge* ... my cringing apology."
