Valentines Day, Him or Her thing??

Guys this is more of a Question that an Article?
Yes I know most people claim to Hate Valentines day...okey maybe hate is a strong word here, Let me refrase that. Most People bathi bona they dont Celebrate valentives day because its more of a cormmecial thing than a Love thing. because if you Love your sputuputu you must show love everyday not only on Valentines day (yeah right umuntu wakho angaze akhathale getting a rose everyday, theyll end up being meaningless)

some people ke are Hopeless Romantics and they will forever love and cherish the centimental meanings of the day, to such an extent that they remember all their valentines from their first crushes in high school tot vandag,Sweeeet. they even keep their Cards in their memory boxes, take pictures wearing their red and whites attires...

Getting back to my Point. its 2010 now, its the 21 century (yeah i know you heard this a million times already so hearing it one more time wont kill you..lol) These days woman like being in control, showing that they can do things on their own yada yada yada...we all know these days its always about woman empowerment.

For all those who still love Valentines Day
Who exactly should be doing the Valentines day preparation?
Who must buy the Rose or Gift? it is the man or the woman?
who must make those dinner reservations? man or woman?
who must take the other to movies or park or what ever else you might think of?

The reason I ask these questions guys its because I have a lot of Gal Chommies who Love valentines day mara they never ever do any preparations for the day, Apart from making sure that they dont have anything planned for the day so that their better halves can have them the whole day instead they just wait to see what their hubbies or Boyfies have planned for them. and in many cases the Hubbies do buy that rose shem. mara in a case where the Hubby or Boyfie does nothing for the woman on Valentines day, Shem poor skepsel uzokwatelwa strong. Which i think is unfair

so dont most woman treat their men on Valentines day?
why do they have to just sit and wait to see what their partners have instore for them, when they(woman) are the ones that have so much Passion for the day.
(dont get me wrong i dont mean men dont love valentines day, because some do, well mostly because they know they will get laid, after buying that rose)

I love Valentine's day and I celebrate it up but my husband is one of those who think that Valentine's should be celebrated every day...as if.  I think that people use that cliche as an excuse to not celebrate it.  I know he won't have any thing planned but i plan to take him out and get him a gift which i know he will cherish
