Why do we love celebs?? If you asked me early on a Monday morning while I am sober and energetic if I liked Zola 7, Dj Sbu, Mandoza or Kabelo I will answer 'Hell no!!' and give you a million reasons why.

I'd say things like 'UZola uthanda amnatombi', 'USbu believes his own hype' , 'Mandoza washapa and orata basadi' and 'Kabelo likes drama'.

Maar if these celebs were here, right in front of my eyes, I would be on some ' I loove what you do', 'You are my favourite', 'Remember when it rained isa ndiphambanisa' and 'Heita daar pantsula for life'....doing some pathetic sucking up.

Zola yena scare me for real, I avoid him like the plague. I just think if he asked me out, despite his women drama and ukuba-vuil (amanzi akakho kowabo), I would date him and even do an Akua on him (ukumlahlela on the first date)..

Don't get me started on the clean boys with some township in them (Sbu, Kabelo and Mandoza), I have a better chance of resisting Devonshire cheese (I don't have a sweet tooth, can't stand chocolate) than saying nooo!!! Am I just a whore, am I alone in this or do you guys share the same sentiment that there are celebs we criticize on blogs, when we are with our friends etc. but if they were here liking on you, you would fall like a house of cards....

Yes you are alone.

I dont do pretences. I may like someones song or job or whatever but it by no means mean that I like them.

I like Unathi's Thembisile but I do not like her.

I dont know why everything is so focused on celebrities.

I like my celebrities....espesheli when they are not near me.... as soon as they are next to me ngiba ne pride too much to even say HI(not that they notice).....i dont even want to take a pic with them...i dont want to look like a groupie(not that there is anything wrong with being a groupie)

Monchooza you are like me. I dont suck up to celebrities, wether I see them live, talking with them on the phone or simply interviewing them. I just dont like to look like a groupie. Even when the receptionists gals here at work are falling aroung them taking pics I dont. If a celeb wants to take a pic with me and sisihle i keep the pic but I dont suck up.

Exactly Monchooza,my pride doesnt allow me to be a groupie to me they are like people doing their work as much as l do mine ned nje owabo ukuspotlight. When l meet them its the same as meeting umama osebenza eshop no big deal. I love what they do en appreciate their work qha

hhayi Zothile sisi, Most of us like them celebrities because of the work they do nway we wouldnt even know them if they didnt do that ... so it is more like iking their work than them..... but thinking od doing Akua on them, it is just that word you used and you might be the only one on that...

so Msoe....The RC and Scandal crew wanted to take pics with you? im refering to one article you wrote where you had your pics the ETV sopies' stars

Monchooza,I am also like that.If a celeb is not friendly with me,then I also pretend as if I'm seeing them for the first time.

Don't worry Msoe, I also act very professional and serious around celebs but coz they are people when they become comfortable, I also become a bit comfortable.

Your pics are understandable....It's not like you took the pics to say 'See I was with Jamie Bartlett, he knows ME and I have his autograph'... South Africans don't do autographs, we just point at celebs and say 'There is Karabo Moroka (instead of Connie)' and when they look we act like they don't exist...
